    Farming?

    So just finished a round where a random aka meg decided to invite me to a party.I was talking to my friend so I did not want to join and ignored it. Well sometime into the match I got hooked and they stay on a gen while my friend gets chased off they barely get me before struggle and my friend goes down. I rush to go heal myself while my friend gets hooked and while I’m heading the Meg decided to trap me in a corner where I could not move. They did this on purpose because they were all farming with the killer and we didn’t join in...So I’m thinking screw it I do not wanna disconnect but these losers have taken my game hostage because now they only want to kill me and my friend... So I pose the question why can’t I just phase through other surviours or better yet why can’t this be considered a bannable offense? Why does my fun get to be ruined simply because I did not want to join some imbeciles party.

      Sadly no one listens on ps4 they just say block them

      You should whip out your phone (giving that you are on PS4) and record your screen. Keep the recording on and check their profile if possible while in game. Send the video to deadbydaylight and they can be banned.

      I know it’s not ideal but it’s the only way.

      On PC, I suggest you download OBS and record every match you play. After that match, delete the video and set up the recording again.
      If something fishy happens in said game, upload it and link profiles of the offender.

      It is bannable, but your not gonna get banned for farming with the killer

      But at that moment where Meg blocks you so that the killer can kill you the are working with the killer.

      Of course it isn't bannable to farm,

      It's bannable, but there's no system on PS4 to ban players for any kind of cheating or misconduct. These players are very well aware of this fact, and are abusing this loophole. It's also the fault of devs, even if they (ever?) decide to put a ban system, I'm sure there'll not be enough moderation.

      hate ppl who work with killer to sacrifice their fellow man. just worst thing in the game

      She didn’t block me in so the killer could have me she blocked me so my friend could die.

      Farming is something you will encounter a lot during new chapters/blood point events and something I'll partake in as both Killer and survivor from time to time. My personal advice is to allow survivors to finish all the gens first so anyone not wanting to farm can leave. If the other survivors are stopping you from doing gens or the killer/survivors are just trapping you in the map that is holding the game hostage. The only way farming can and should be allowed is with everyone wanting to participate not stopping those who don't from leaving.

      In a game with this level of grinding its inevitable to get farmers, just don't stop those who don't want to farm from leaving.

      This is the bad form of farming where the intent isn't for everyone to get BP but instead to "troll" someone else. This type fits perfectly into a " reportable offence".

      Believe me when I tell you, reporting anybody for anything literally isn't worth a fart in cyber space for these devs. Nothing will get done about it. Even video evidence for blatant hacking goes on ignored for months on end. I call DBD the wild west for that reason. People can do or say anything they want without consequences. I've seen it all and the care factor is just zero across the board.
