Shape buff idea
Just a thought I had, but what are your thoughts on increasing the amount of stalk Myers can get per person? I don't mean the speed he gains stalk, but rather the maximum amount.

I'd rather the stalk he has on people "regenerate" very slowly, over time. So if he stalks someone to Max at the start of the match he can return to stalk them again later during the match. Could also have an upper limit to how much stalk can regenerate per gen done, to prevent match stalling. This would put him more on par with ghostface whom can infinitely gain instadowns.
Tldr - regenerating stalk, but takes time to regenerate.

@Maelstrom10 That would be cool. ATM it just feels like if you stalk 1 person too much or someone you HAVENT stalked much dies too early, you get kinda screwed out of using your power toward the end.

Someone dying with stalk still on them should act like a dc actually (if you weren't already aware, a dc takes all of that survivors stalk and distributes it evenly among survivors still in the trial) - would also make tombstone piece far more useable for if you kill someone during the trial you can still stalk others to pop ew3 to mori em

A pallet breaking speed increase for each tier would be nice.
I.e. Tier 1 has default pallet breaking speed, tier 2 has a little faster, tier 3 has fastest

@thedevalex I feel like with his extra range of his T3 lunge, he doesnt NEED to break pallets any faster since that alone helps him challenge loops better once the pallet is thrown.

Might be. I'm not to sure, always assumed it was also when people dc'ed otherwise that's a dead mechanic now that you can't start a game with less then 4

My Myers has reached Evil Within 4 because of the excitement of reading these proposals! XD
Considering that Ghost Face can be deprived of power during stalking, while Myers no, I consider it fair that the regeneration of evil in the survivors takes place progressively more slowly, so that the killer, if he fails to close the game, can continue to enjoy his power, but with increasing effort.

What I'd like.
To be able to get to T3 more times in a match. But each tier taking longer to get to balance it out.
I'd leave the action speed bonus alone, since they're going to move into making the maps more fair for everyone. Buffing that with the changes would make him too oppressive.

This would be the only cool thing, I think he’s fairly balanced right now so it concerned me a little when the devs suggested “looking into it” during the Q&A. Slight tweaks might be appreciated such as multi stalk or something like this (great suggestion btw ❤️), everything else... just please don’t. I’m getting a little tired of fearing for killers “changes”. Freddy is probably one of the few recent exceptions.

@Kiskashi Im not suggesting a full rework or anything, mostly what feels like QOL changes. His jewelry addons which increases movement speed while stalking for example...actually dont. They only affect your movement speed while your holding the button and NOT stalking anyone, which you could simply let off the button and push it again when you have someone infront of you.

They nerfed Myers by making him only stalk one person at a time, if they reverted that nerf he would be better. Theyve nerfed him quietly over the years and most havent noticed, shortened his stalk length sometime this year etc,...

I would like to see stalk constantly redistribute.
For example, you’ve stalked a survivor to maximum and another has been moderately stalked. No one else has been seen yet.
As you increase stalk on a new, zero-stalk victim, stalk reduces from all other survivors who have any built up. In this case 2 with stalk and one without. Each second of stalk on the new guy will remove a half second from the other two who have been stalked. The final, still unseen survivor does not contribute to this since he has nothing built up.
I think this would be a nice way of continuing to spread fear and carnage!

I like this idea maybe it regens over time or adds more to each one per survivor hooked. Another slight QOL change could be to show him how much stalk he has left on one someone like the bar changes colour when you are about to run out.

I didn’t mean you were, I get you’re just wanting to discuss slight changes, I’m just concerned in general given recent changes, I don’t really want to lose another killer from my roster if things do go overboard, especially my main 😅
I’ve talked about the “stalking movement speed” addons in other threads, I too find them absolutely useless, if anything was going to be changed in terms of addons I sure hope it is them (potentially remove entirely and add a new class like mentioned above by heroiq for the restoration rate idea), I’d like to see them add things to make the playstyle different, I’m addicted to using dead rabbit because of how drastic a change in TR can be especially with M&A, allowing me to use t3 more strategically but still be able to clean up in t2 (as a majority of the match is spent in t2 unless the killer is one of those won’t chase/attack unless t3 mikeys) over half the time I’ll only go t3 twice in an entire match because I actually like to get a chaser score for once (an issue I hope they look into)
I just want to see more of these kinds of addons that change how t2 functions (maybe even removing the red stain/reducing TR for a few seconds on a certain action like a gen being completed or tiering etc to make t2 more stealthy too) given vanity mirror is a little useless on large maps due to the decreased movement speed. (Also something I’d like to see change given the range of the stalk, it’s just not worth the trade off on a large map plus not immune to detection like scratched/t1, also consider it’s purple rarity and does nothing much but hinder you in the end) Overall though I’m not really hoping for anything revolutionary, I’m quite content as is. Would also be nice if the ultras weren’t a guaranteed depip/feel cheap to use and actually just gave a bonus in the match. (I really don’t care for Judith’s, tombstone piece is okay though)
Funny thing thinking on it is that I don’t use half the addons (shards, tombstones, jewellery, mirrors) but really don’t know how they could be reworked. I guess I’ve just adapted to what I’ve got too much at this point. 😞

@Kiskashi My favorite thing to use is the dead rabbit with the glass shard. Gaining the glass shard's aura reading effect when the survivor is trying to do loops that remove LOS comes in handy for heading them off on whichever side theyre not expecting it. If you start getting into the habit of stalking enough to meet the 1 second requirement of glass shard, youll ACCIDENTLY have your T3 ready. It starts getting you into the habit of stalking strategically instead of trying to FORCE it to hit t3.

Never really use shards since back when I tried the time was false it gave like 1-2s aura instead of 5 making it not worth taking (I thought it was trash from the brief flicker of an aura and gave up on them), I keep forgetting to try it now. I don’t know style if that would work for me though because I stalk from a distance, I very rarely close in or stalk during a loop, I store ew3 early and use it on groups I find with discordance or when I catch a survivor in a bad position/in the open. But thanks for sharing a different playstyle idea 😊 I’m always stuck on J Myers memorial and dead rabbit, fast stalks when I need them, super low TR (with M&A) combine it with discordance for some real fun.

Thanks for the compliment ☺️ but I have faith in the devs haha, wraith, hag and trapper all got good changes, though I admit they've made questionable decisions in the past year haha

@Kiskashi I spend alot of my time in T2, and make sure to get a quick 1 second stalk in before the survivor rounds a corner in a junglegym or something. I typically ALSO do REALLY well in Killershack plays. Stopping to watch someones aura for afew seconds can REALLY screw em up.
