I love being camped.

camped.png

In my last three/four games, I have played against Killers who decided to camp me after I looped them for X gens over the course of each trial. Every time, I got off the hook and out the Exit Gates/Hatch (cool teammates bringing in Keys!) - thanks to the use of Borrowed Time or Adrenaline with teammates performing bodyblocks. I had to laugh each time this happened because these same Killers will still camp in their next set of games even though their attempts had failed terribly.

Anyone else experiencing an influx of camping occurring? If so, have you guys had good teammates willing to lend a hand with BT or bodyblocks, or did you just get farmed?

P.S. I'd also run BT myself, but I haven't had any luck finding it in the expanse that is the Bloodweb as of yet.

It's like, the harder you loop them, the harder they camp you.

It's their lack of skill but here we are.

Very true. I got camped within breathing distance of the Killer in my last two camping sessions haha.

I mean if you like doing nothing for a max of 1 minute, 59 seconds, every match, suit yourself.

Here's a good way to not get camped, dont wear bright cosmetics.

But P3 fully immersed stealth Claudette got so borrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. 😉

In all honesty, I don't care whether it happens or not, as I don't care about rank. Just surprised that some Killers still think it is a good "strategy".

There's been an increase in camping I think, but it may also have to do with ranking and so on.

Also known as: Don't get caught. Killers hate when they get catches. Help them out. c:

Gives me a chance to drink something in this heatwave we've got going on over here for sure!

@BeanieBoyBob I dont mean be a blendette, but just have some darker clothes, I know a few people who have stated, that they'll camp or tunnel those with bright cosmetics since "They're just asking to be caught"

Camping in increased cause more survivors play killer.

I actually tunnel blendettes because they try to get an advantage and make the tracking even harder. No respect for those non skill players.

Same here! It's a psychological victory.

Surprised they even have the patience to wait to get into a lobby.

I don’t mind being camped as long as my teammates play smart. You gotta figure a killer does it either because 1) it’s worked for them before, or 2) they really hate you lol. You can’t change the second one, but if it’s the first one, then gen rush and get out to deny killer pips and points. Otherwise, go for that endgame save if you can, but be wary.

Camping required any skills, every killers can camp anyone hooked survivors. So yes, it is a bad strategy but killers are still so much rewarded to fail his own trial with this "strategy" (generally 1 camped hook = genrush strategy what killers love to play against & almost 3 survivors free to go out).

Ofc I don't like these easy camping times but there are some others strategies to counter it...

It hurts I know, I’ve had a Myers tunnel me hard (I.e actually stepping around other survivors/ignoring them) and use ew3 on me while I was already injured because I ran them for a while, others just 100% facecamp if I run them too long and avoid their ew3/deny stalk at the same time. Painful to watch others give your boi a bad name...he’s not even a weak killer, they just are really bad at playing him...

I haven’t seen too much hard facecamping lately though (even with bubbas which used to be a 90% chance now more like 20%), returning instantly to the hook to tunnel yes, camping...seems like it’s dying out a bit for me. Had one ghost camp a basement in my last session, that’s it. They were also just a really bad ghost though, they used haunted grounds and failed to catch me for the entire duration, they also had MYC but camped so??? and also NOED like how bad do you actually have to be as an exposed killer to rely on more than one perk for your exposed😂 They only got one mark so I can’t say I’m surprised. I know it’s part meme build but wow that early basement camp of 2 survs with 4 gens (managed to do an entire other two as well) and 2 bps was nice...

That's just a staring contest and he's too inbred to realize masks don't blink.

A lot of killer use hard camping as means to derank to get away from boring survivor meta. Happens, no need to make a fuss about it.
