Legion OP

Who’s idea was it to make a killer (who is already twice as fast as survivors) be able to sprint at the same time, he can vault pallets and jump through windows just as fast. I don’t care if you don’t agree because many people will laugh at the idea of him being OP but it’s ridiculous what he can do

    Survivors move at 100% ms, legion moves at 115% ms and (I think) 117% while in feral frenzy. His power doesn’t even do much anymore.

    Frenzy increases movement speed to 5.0m/s, so it's +10% movement speed from normal - or 125%.

    Not exactly sonic but it's more than 5%.

    Still ridiculous though, why does he need to sprint?

    Why he needs to sprint is the same reason as a nurse can blink, a Billy chainsaw sprint and so on - it's his power.

    Theoretically, he should be able to hit a survivor, get the information, where other survivors are (if they don't have the deep wound status), and get after this everyone injured. The idea was, to slow the game down by being forced to mend. As if he, she, they, however u wanna say, have a base movement speed of 115 %, they are at least dangerous, if u don't heal.

    Practically, when legion is in frenzy, it lasts forever and a day to close up to survivors. If the survivor is looping him, he has to be aware of the pally, cause the stun from the pallet ends his frenzy. If legion hits someone during frenzy, the hitten one has all the time in the world to start mending, cause the mending bar starts going down, AFTER legion is more than 32 meters away from the survivor he hit. This means, if u see your deep wound status is regressing, legion is more than 32 meters away from u. If the bar stops regressing, u r within the 32 meters, so maybe he's coming back. Theoretical, if u manage to stay in his terror radius, u don't need to mend the whole game long.

    I would say his power is more annoying than dangerous, but, on the other side, gives u good points for healing & mending other survivors.

    You must have been a massive fan of old cold dirt + Frank's mixtape Legion

    Or

    Moonwalk Legion

    Legion was always a seesaw killer they had a specific build or a specific play style that made them really oppressive and overpowered however if you weren't playing that way they were very weak.

    It's the main reason why they needed a rework you couldn't buff old Legion without making the specific oppressive builds more oppressive and you couldn't nerf Legion without making the Killer super weak on a whole if you weren't using those methods.

    As of right now new legion is still weak but definitely in a state where they can be buffed without completely making them overpowered and oppressive

    Legion is OP?! Legion was demolished. For one thing, in his power, you can easily lose track of survivors now that blood is gone. Another thing is that when you get the 4 second stun punishment just for using your power or missing, then survivors can get enough distance to discourage you to chase. The power barely lasts, and with the decreased vaults and speeds, it is so easy to get away from Legion. The power can't even down you, most Legions do chain attacks, so if you aren't being followed, just mend and move on. Wish you could down survivor's mend time if you hit all remaining survivors with feral frenzy. (keep the missed attack, even though I hate it so much, make the stun shorter).

    He/she isn't even OP to the slightest, the power doesn't even give them distance, not even half the map!

    @MarksmanSpecal

    I meant the original poster.

    I was trying to point out that pre-rework they had a certain build and a sudden exploit that made them super oppressive.

    Calling them overpowered now would be like saying someone lightly tapping you with their foot is a painful experience

    @Volfawott

    Got it :)

    The OP may be a newer player, than it´s quite reasonable to think, Legion is really strong. The only defense u have is a pally, and he can vault them. When i started with DBD, every killer appeared quite strong ^^

    Old Legion was absolute trash, annoying af, no wonder, most people dc´ed against him.

    Now Legion is basically trash too but no more exploits and annoying to both sides >:(

    Yes, thanks god for this.

    I´m playing both sides, but i guess 70:30 Killer:survivor. Legion is fun to get to red ranks, but than u r screwed. Most games agaginst him are just annoying.
