What Happened to Brand New Part and Odd Bulb?
Brand New Part and Odd Bulb used to be some of the most OP addons in the game. But in the current state of the game and after the changes done to Brand New Part and flashlights, are the addons still good enough to be considered pink? Whenever I find a BNP or OB in my bloodweb, i end up actively ignoring them just because they're too pricey for their strength. It would be nice to see these addons either buffed or lowered down to a purple/green ranking.

They were nerfed Bc they were too strong and literally killing the killer community. They deserved it tbh.

But they are not worth pink status anymore is the point. I'd rather pick up a yellow add-on over a 7k red bulb or part.

Odd Bulb I never found to be that great. BNP used to be OP but now it's reasonably balanced and still has plenty of use. It's good if you hold onto it and use it for that gen you REALLY need to finish or a gen that's in a bad spot. Commodious with speed add-ons is ultimately better because it has more utility, but if you want to bang out a gen super fast BNP is still the way to go.

This is only a survivour problem right killer dont have useless add ons that actively take up bloodweb or are overpriced. Oh wait tattoist middle finger, black box, all seeing eye the list goes on but useless iridescents is a universal thing.
Survivour having only two useless iridescents add ons is hardly a complaint and even then bnps still gives you a large headstart on a gen. Use it on an unsafe gen so to prevent a 3 gen strat early on and that subtle jump start might be what changes the entire course of the game.

There are more iridiscent usseful killers addons than usseles.. the only 2 good addons that survivor have are now usseful

So instas are crap really news to me. What about maps oh wait you dont know how to use them i take it. Bnps useless or not used properly.
Since you dont understand there power. I'm going to give you a rundown on how to properly use them. Maps are anti trap, hatch tracking, totem hunting equipment. You can use a map to find and reveal killer totems traps or the hatch depending on add ons with crytal bead you can reveal trap locations to any survivour currently being chased feeding real time info to any chased survivour.
The map is a powerful item and with range add ons you can track items from across the map. Bnps as i said earlier allow you to get dangerous gens early and can make a massive difference.
As for odd bulb its not so much weak as a pubstomper working on weaker killer who can't track whilst blinded. The duration increase is nasty long.
The problem with many of these supposed weak add ons is they are not simple to use like a toolbox or insta they require thought and strategy. If you dont believe me start playing with these items and using my information to get better use out of these items and see if these items are truly useless.

I really miss how the BNP used to operate. I can see why it was seen as OP though, especially if a party of SWF all had one, that must have been annoying as hell for the killer. I think they should have kept them how they were, but just made them a lot harder to find.

They were stupid OP, but now they nerfed them so hard they are stupid to buy on the web. Killers used to dodge if they saw a toolbox, now..wait they still dodge toolboxes but you need like 2-3 before the little guy gets triggered.

Imho the ones that are weak(yellow and green) need to be weaker. There’s no reason you should be able to equip weaker flashlights with weaker addons and do that kind of damage. It takes purple with good add ons and that’s how it should be. You can get killer blinds sometimes if they are absolutely perfect with yellow and green(how it should be), and you can still get blinds at pallets so you can gain some distance with them effectively. They are balanced.
as far as bnp rip but they needed it too, and they probably won’t buff it again due to gen rush still being an issue if a killer gets a bad map for that character.

Odd bulb hurts you more than helps you and to complete 1 generator needs 4 brand new parts, I dont like it and Prove Thyself helps more than brand new part

So a single bnp ahould do more then complete 1/4 of a gen. You know the point of a bnp is to allow you to push and get progress on gens that are in dangerous spots not complete a gen. The problem with flashlights is the innate risk rewards of that gameplay. A good qol would be to make bnps work like instas with a prompt where you can time when to use it.
If your stealthy and you can get the drop on a killer an odd bulb will give your allies a headstart by increasing the duration of the blind smarter killers will track with hearing but again this can be countered by iron will and lightweight. Most other addons make it easier to make the save but oddbulb extends blindness duration which is quite strong.
Flashlight builds tend to be poorly designed. Most dont run iron will and loudly rush to save there friend which gives aware killers a heads up and provides an oppurtunity for free momentum. I have herad lightweight obscures footstep noises but havent tested it would be a pretty savy perk if you are big into being altruistic.

Humor is Ultra rare is mean for "game changing". Except if at least 2 survivors bring in 2 Ultra rare item/add on it may work.
But on killer side, a single Ultra rare add on/offering will destroy all 4 Ultra rare from survivors. Something like one shot Huntress add on, Shape with kill healthy survivors, Pink mori.

Killer main here: moris could use a nerf, but so too should instaheals. Pink addons should be game changing, but ebonies and syringes are just not fun to play against.
Most of my friends main survivor, though, and they agree with me that killer offerings should count for 3.5 survivor offerings in general, like they do with Putrid/Petrified Oak. Survivors are already the true power role unless we play in such a way to knock their rhythm off balance.
People are ignoring a fun fact about BNP: it bypasses Ruin. That's 25 seconds less on a gen with a mid-level risk of minor regression.

BNP's that caused the generator to prompt a skillcheck after skillcheck I think we're fine. I don't know why devs changed them to the current ones.

Survivor have a universal pool of add-ons
Killer don't their add-ons are all individually linked to the power meaning Killers like Pig have really bad or underwhelming ultras rares.
