overcharge & PGTW question
So I've played the game for quite a while, but since the new freddy came out and new builds are coming forth, I saw a build that made me wonder something. Just some perk mechanic clarification, is all.
Basically, PGTW at T3 hits for 25%. And Overcharge introduces a skill check that, when missed, slaps on an additional 5% at T3. Question is, does Overcharge mean that if you miss the OC skill check, it also counts as a regular skill check, knocking off 15%? And if so, does that mean PGTW with OC miss equals about 40% regression?

I'm guessing PGTW does its 25% applied first then overcharge takes place after that. Missing the skill check applies whatever regression from there. So not a stacked total.
50% generator + PGTW = 25% Gen
25% generator + Overcharge failed skill check 5% = 1.25% deduction = 23.75%
Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Why would it knock off 15%?

I assumed that it would stack.
For example, on a non-perk, regular miss on a check, it's 10%. The text of OC made me believe it took 5% off the total gen, resulting in 15...but the way Weapon says it, it makes more sense. 5% of current progression (25%, in his example.)
IDK, text of perks kind of spins me around sometimes.

I didn't know that about the skill checks taking 10%. Sounds a bit high, but if it's right, it's right. I'm definitely not going to argue against that. In any case if that 5% did stack with the 10% it would be after PGTW is applied. At least that's how I see it.

Overcharge should apply after PGTW does. You should be able to regress a gen by 40% if the Survivor misses the skill check. If you also use Huntress Lullaby, then you can add an extra 6% to that.

I haven't use PTGW, but from what it sounds like, it sounds way weaker than I initially thought. I thought if a generator was at 25% out of 100% done, PTGW would regress it to 0%. I didn't know it regressed 25% of current progression.

Awesome! I also noticed I failed my math as 25% off of 50% isn't 25% lol So, PGTW 12.50% + OC 5.63% = 31.87%. Now... I think that is right! The 5.63% is the total taken off of the gen after the 15% is applied to the failed skill check on a 37.50% gen.

You should be right.

PGTW takes 25% off, regardless of gen progress.

No way a missed skillcheck is 15%. Not even 10.

No no that is how it works. It knocks 25% off regardless. If it's at 25% it'll go to zero. If it's at 75% it'll go to 50%

@TurboTestosterone K good, I was gonna say it would be pretty useless otherwise.

The wiki says that normal skill checks are 10% under the efficiency penalty section. The 15% comes from adding the Overcharge penalty.
