Personalized Killer Basements
Who else thinks there should be personalized killer basements? Such as a basement filled with circus stuff for the clown, or filled with traps for the trapper. Something Along those lines.

Well, there's certainly enough empty space in the back of the basement to allow for placed objects.
A workstation or table might be suitable for Pig, trapper or Hillbilly.

Maybe it could be a side thing doing queue times that you can edit the basement with various equipment you can obtain by winning killer games, prestiging, and getting devotion. Good idea for rewards :D

I'd like to see the killer basements personalised but personalised per map - the same as hooks. Otherwise it's pretty easy to spawn in the shack for example then see the Wraith's themed basement and know it's a Wraith you are facing...so personalise per map would probably be better.

Actually in the early state of the game, hooks around the map were related to the killer you would face (i only remember that the one where paper towel seemed to be wrapped on, was the wraith one), for obvious reasons they dropped soon this idea. So i dont think they would do the same error for the basement, still, map based would be very good.

There better be a spirit basement with katana's on displays, Japanese tapestries everywhere, and a nice bloody sakura rug on the floor by the steps or chest.

My LF has always wanted a small BBQ pit in the basement for entertaining guests.

I doubt that would be a problem when there are loading screen tips that reveal the killer's identity.

Usually the killer identity is given away in the first 60 seconds of the game anyway.

That's the Rob Zombie version of Myers. The original version of Michael Myers, which is what's in DBD, just stole his masks from stores.

True but then other killers such as Pig, Plague, Freddy, Billy, Trapper, and Nurse
All have either structures, sounds, or effects that give away their identity immediately. Though I do agree characters like Myers and Ghostface would suffer from it quite a bit
Perhaps the basement could be locked to survivors until the killer starts a chase with one of them.

Is this true, however? This Myers is incredibly huge. The original Myers was not that large of a person.
