I'm starting to hate Empathy
My eye starts to twitch because all anyone does is self care or hide and wait for the other person (or persons) to die so they can get hatch. But I guess calling the perk What Else Can I Watch My Teammates Do Besides Gens To Actually Move The Game Forward was too much for a perk name?

Lmao id just run over and whip them into shape with a pallet drop (sprint burst and light weight good luck finding me and not the one who isn't doing anything)

I had a Tapp today, I got him off the hook, followed him to heal him, AND HE DROPPED A PALLET ON ME LIKE I WAS THE FREAKIN' TRAPPER. (Side note: I was not)

I love Empathy, it allows me to heal, and if I see anyone potato around, I heal them up and make them get back into the game ;)

Bill: If equip Empathy you do, only pain will you find
Ash: Yeah, yeah, I'm sorry old guy but I gotta see what they're doing
Ash:...It can't be...They can't be so stupid
*Sees 3 Megs urban evasioning and self caring in the corner of the map 5 miles away from killer*
Ash: Takes empathy off I can't watch these screw-heads anymore

I usually bring Bond instead so that I can avoid people sandbagging me and find people. I don't need to see what people are doing across map.

Aura reading perks are a blessing and a curse 😅

I use bond, it's just as frustrating. But it can also be helpful when I have Prove Thyself on. Honestly I'm thinking of taking We'll Make It off. It's so helpful but then people just run away from you to the corner of the map. I just leave them to die if they're gonna do that #########. I once had a guy injured doing a gen while I had We'll Make It up. I kept signaling to let me heal him, but he ignored me and just kept doing the gen until it was done. Once my We'll Make It was gone, and the gen was done, he wanted healing. Sorry buddy, too late, should have let me do it earlier.

I too hate feeling for someone else.
Being an unfeeling robot is so much better

Everyone runs self care and doesn't do gens. There are times when all three teammates are self-caring.

At some point, you must realize, that generators have to get done? Unless you're one of the people that just wait for your teammates to die so you can get hatch.

I might give that a try. Thanks.

Yeah I used to run We'll Make It but it wasn't worth it anymore. Even when others have it, they don't heal me. I don't understand.

You all fail to see the point. Empathy is great if you know what you're supposed to be doing: nothing. Nothing, as long as no one is injured. Once somebody a mile away from you gets hit, THEN you know it's gen time. But make sure to Urban away to a corner again once they're healed. Gens are dangerous, gotta double check if you're at a safe distance from the killer.
Oh and maybe you've heard, there's a killer who can teleport to gens. In this case, just don't do gens. At all. At some point, Hatch will open, no matter what.

My bad. You're right. Never do gens. Urban evade until all teammates are d-e-d.

See? Play smart, and survive, play bold and die!

This is what most of you all see:

He's not entirely wrong - the game does favor the cowards.

In a bad way. One game, three of us died doing gens, saving and rescuing, and this David that did literally nothing (I saw him go into lockers both times I was hooked) and he let me die on second hook. Then what I saw was the most unfair thing ever. He approached the killer, put down his toolbox, and then they began farming! At least post-chat, killer said he would be more careful on who to spare, but seriously?! O.o

I just had a game where the Doc tunneled Claudette to a dc, can't blame her. The Dwight then spent the entire rest of the game hiding in a locker, I am not even joking. He was full health. It was just me and one Meg trying to do gens. She farmed me off the hook which was fun and then I got tunneled to death. The Dwight never left the locker for all three of my hooks.

lol 100% accurate. Touching a gen will instantly mori you with Ruin. It's just the facts.

I can power through Ruin, but I'm more concerned about other survivors being able to do gens. Getting that ruin helps my peace of mind immensely.

I like ruin now. I feel like I can assert my dominance over a killer if with ruin still active I can pop a gen right away. But a lot of people who are still learning the game see ruin and don't even try to do gens.

It seems like if killers are just doing their dailies, then the people who do nothing get the benefit of those farms at the end. It's very frustrating.

I watched a streamer constantly downing the same guy and letting him go (so he didn't bleed out) until he found a Dwight who was hiding near the hatch for the entire game. It got to the point where the guy who kept getting downed ended up helping the killer find the hatch camper using bond.
In the end he hooked the guy that gave away the position of the person who hid all match and gave the hatch camper the hatch because "Hey he did SO well at playing evasive, he deserved it".
The whole stream cried.

Yeah I just don't understand the hide the whole game mentality. You have to actually play to get better.
I find if there's one other person left, 99% of the time they're camping the hatch, waiting for me to die while I still work on gens. Then as soon as the killer hooks that person, 3, 2, 1 HATCH CLOSED. It's like freakin' clockwork. It's already harder for the slower survivor to find the hatch, but those people make it impossible.

Your not the only one cursed with auras

@George_Soros honestly, that sounds like a fun solo survivor task. XD

Way back, before EGC, I tried some games with Urban and Left Behind. It was always pleasing when I could finish a second gen when everyone was dead, to get the Hatch. Not that I could pull it off a lot.

I like empathy because it allows me to know where the killer is regardless of range.
