Survivors are boring.
And i dont mean Solo queue, or either SWF one. I mean, summary. Doing the objective is boring as hell, playing effectively is boring as hell... I dont mean that its hard to escape, no. I mean that playing seriously IS boring. After 1k+ hours of repetative gameplay, im just tired of all this stuff. I owned all of the survivor perks atm.
The only time, when i have some fun is when "Me AnD ThE BoIS" are running funny builds, that just makes killer laugh, or go tryhard. Things like 4 man No Mither squad, with Unbreakable, Tenacity, Flip Flop, and Toolbox with both hacksaws. Its kinda funny, yet deffective. But, as solo... There is no way for me, to gain any fun. Except Teabagging VS with Ghostface, maybee. But otherwise, its not.
Is there any way to gain ANY fun as survivor? Any funny builds for solo? Suggest it. And thanks some people, that told me about funny killer builds, they were funny)

There either needs to be different game modes or completely different objectives as oppose to just doing gens

I have to agree, I have nearly 1k hours and that seems to be the games life expectancy imo. I'm really holding out hope that the archive adds at least a bit of a feeling of progression but who knows when/if that will come.
I'd love something else for survivors to do but I know the devs won't do it, so here's hoping the archives is worthwhile.

I mean its a long shot, but a game mode somthing like mario party. Where the survivors compete against each other to be the soul survivor while the killer works to slow/stop them.

Killer gameplay is definitely much more engaging. Playing as survivor is literally mind numbing if you’re not interacting with the killer.

Omg yes, this. I stopped playing survivor for a very long time because of how ######### boring it is, it's am M1 simulation with to many frustating aspects (mainly having potatoe team mates).
But since head on I just meme around, stun the killer as much as possible per match and have so much fun a laugh as I never did before playing survivor. That's the reason why I really want to make this perk even better and more fun. It's literally the only reason I play survivor again.

Repairing gens is not exciting, true. I'd like to see a 2nd objective getting implemented. Maybe with a 2nd objective, the gen time could even get reduced a bit.

Well, im playing Deathgarden as survivors, something like once a week. Gonna say, that playing immersive in Deathgarden is kinda fun, more fun than in DBD. But on delivering blood, idk, i dont like it.

It's really hard to find good killers these days. Most of them have stopped playing.
Last time I saw Billy without Ruin was over a month ago...

The worst part is the survivor experience won't really get any better either.
In a few months survivors will get a new skin (new character) and most likely 1 good perk which will be nerfed into the ground and 2 trash tier perks. No new items, addons or anything that will change the playstyle.
Repeat for every 'update' every few months.

With all the nerfs to survivor that's just the state of the game. And more are on the way with the map "rebalancing"

Nerfs are more indirectly the reason. The nerfs are just forcing solos to be more efficient. No mememing, no trolling, no ######### around. Just straight up pumping the gens and hold M1 like a moron to stand a chance against idk omegablink nurses and spirits who are slaughtering your mates like rank 20s on the other side of the map.
The nerfs itself didn't make the game unfun. The results made it unfun (for solos at least).

I play DBD just for 6 months and I already think the game should have 2nd Objective and lower gen time.
I kneel drop to anyone who play this same objective since 2016.

I sadly have to agree as a survivor main it's tough for me to come up with a reason to still play these days other than getting the new perks. We definitely need a new game mode or 2nd objective...maybe something that has a random chance of playing against your fellow survivors to spice it up. Kind of like haunted ground

Running from body pile to body pile to blood post, marking things along the way, destroying drones, topping off on ammo to do those things and keeping an eye on my team to see if someone needs help is a whole lot more involved than just holding M1 and sometimes doing a skill check.
There is a lot more fun to be had delivering blood than doing generators. I'm not saying your playstyle is wrong, just that the alternative is still an improvement, and in my opinion it's fun.

I think it would be cool to have the game randomly choose your objective, if they come up with a new one.
Much like you don't typically know what map you'll be at without an offering, you wouldn't know if you need to repair gens or do a different objective without an offering.
