Mouse and Keyboard?
So now that Xbox supports mouse and keyboard. Why is it that I can still only use my keyboard? If you are going to add support why not just complete it and allow us to use our mouse as well.

Simple, unfair advantage against ppl using controllers

Xbox supports m/kb natively now, as long as the developer enables it in their game. You can literally plug if any Dell m/kb and it works. This isn't an excuse.
And yes, I want the devs to enable m/kb support. Since it's native, they really don't even need to do anything special, just make it like the PC version.
Also mouse + controller is the way to go. Mouse aim and analog movement.

But you can already use keyboard by itself. If you don't want an advantage why don't they remove keyboard support. I just was wondering why have keyboard work in game but not have the mouse to play with it. Just seems like they haven't came back and fixed it,

Because a keyboard is actually not an advantage, it's a disadvantage. Analog stick > WASD for movement. What makes a keyboard better than a controller is when the game requires like 50 buttons such as an RTS. But DBD has 5 buttons as killer and 9 as survivor. Xbox technically has 14 if you include Dpad and stick clicks. Keyboard is a hinderance more than anything. You don't even need to take your thumb off the sticks when playing killer, so there's literally no drawbacks at all.

Not quite. On the survivor side, there is no fine aiming to be done. Whether you're playing on a controller or mouse/keyboard, there is no huge difference. It's all personally preference. If you're comfortable with a controller, you can do everything someone with a mouse/keyboard could do. (Maybe except moonwalking, but that's just for show.)
There are certain killers where it would make a difference, namely Huntress and Nurse, but since the survivors aren't any weaker, it's not exactly risky to give that option to killers.
But to answer the original question; it's not something we're planning at the moment. Maybe we can consider it down the line, but not in the immediate future.

But the thing tho, it's not a shooter. It's not Huntress vs Huntress while one uses controller and the other mk. It's still Huntress vs survivors (while it doesn't matter what survivors use) so there is actually no disadvantage if you really think about that from that perspective. It's just survivors want to keep it as easy as possible for them.

No, not at all.

It would be really nice if all consoles start supporting mk. Would also make it more possible for cross play (in case BHVR wants it).

Keyboard and Mouse support would go a long way toward me not wanting to switch to PC.

I'm no programmer but I thought all you have to do is allow it. You already have keyboard support. Is there not an activation key to allow it to start working. Just thinking it would be an easy patch that many would find useful.

It's not unfair if you all have access to use it. Your choice.
INB4 I have no M+KB
Controllers are $60.
You can get a KB+M for under 20.
It's a choice of preference at that point.

Have to buy an adapter. But price is not the point, when you are playing on console most people expect everyone else to be using a controller. There's a reason they don't allow crossplay to PC or allow keyboard/mouse on fps's on console.

Exactly fps. Dead by daylight is not a FPS. Supporting k&m wont hurt anyone and will allow people who feel More comfortable using it play the game.

Any first person game where it rewards precise aim will benefit from using a mouse
