Insideous Buff Idea
Atm insideous is very niche and is used on a select few killers to camp hooks. My idea is to make an adjustment to this perks to make it function just as well in other aspects. Could you make Insideous quiet killer noises as well as the Terror Radius and Red Stain? So, if you use it on Spirit, for example, you wouldn't hear the cracking noise she emits; or Nurse's gasps for breath; or Freddy's finger knive shing etc. Also I think it would be good if it silenced lullaby audio too - since on the killer's respective power bio it says the Terror Radius is replaced with a lullaby; but it still acts as one since you gain Stake Out tokens and Diversion progress from the Huntress and Nightmare's lullaby.
It would give a breath of fresh air to a very unique and currently memey perk.

This would make it god tier broken for Spirit, Freddy, and Huntress. More, if it also silenced stuff like chainsaws. This is not the route to go.

Insideous's problem is that it requires you to REMAIN stationary for it's effect. This limits its use considerably. If you were to make it have an effect for some time after the killer begins moving again, it would start becoming useful OUTSIDE camping. My thoughts would be something like:
After remaining still for 4/3/2 seconds, the killer's TR and red stain disappear for 15 seconds. This effect has a 60/50/40 second cooldown.
As far as your comment towards Freddy and Huntress's lullabies...Neither are a terror radius. Against a Freddy, you might not HEAR a terror radius while asleep, but the affects of it are still present. If a Freddy were to use insidious for example, you would cease gaining stacks using stakeout, but can still hear his lullaby if you're asleep.

Insidious shouldnt even exist in first place. It needs to go.

The last thing it needs is a buff. If anything a total rework. All it does is encourage camping

As @brokedownpalace suggested, rework is the term that should be used. The perk doesn't need to be improved, but scrapped entirely and redesigned to fit the game's current metas and play styles.

So you want killers to be able to move and have no stain or terror radius??? Am I understanding that correctly?

I'm all for jumpscares, but making every killer Ghostface level stealthy for only one perk is not the ideal change we need for Insidious. I can see where you're coming from though. Although it is as radical as saying Ghostface should be able to phase or blink or throw knives

It wouldn't silence chainsaws, since it's a power, not a killers natural noise. People have been trying to use Insideous for goofy ways like gen camping mindgames and basement camping etc, but these are all useless strategies and are just to muck around. It would just bring a new level of chase play to be able to feel confident thaytactivating Insideous mid-loop of a jungle gym, for example, would get you a crazy free hit. Atm it would only work on a few killers who make minimal animation noise

I think of something like "Hides your blood stain after not moving for 2/1.5/1 seconds and terror radius after 4/3/2 seconds. Effect last for 1/2/3 seconds after moving and goes on cooldown for 15/12/10 seconds". Insidious is one of those rare perks that affect your mind games capability (along with M&A), but due to it's current nature can't be used effectivly or seriously in any way.

No. Monitor and abuse shrinks it outside, and grows it inside of a chase. This would be a net decrease of 26%. Monitor also increases fov outside of a chase to make finding survivors slightly easier. This would pair with monitor and abuse, for on some killers absurdly small terror radiuses, but you have to keep in mind that's two entire perk slots which could possibly be fitting better and more meta things.

Insane but incredibly fun imo :D or tier 2 Myers/huntress even. The lullaby would still give her away, but you'd have to be incredibly close to hear her terror radius and tier 2 Myers could become practically invisible with dead rabbit. Hell even billy with the sound limiting add-ons hurtling towards you would be cool.
Just did the math, depending on what way you calculate it, huntress would have between a 6.2/8.88 m terror radius which would be nutty.
Hag would have between 11.84 and 9.76 m terror radius.
(This is all depending on whether m and a is counted first or second)

Can it just go honestly? And have it be replaced with a new non teachable perk that's up-to-date with the game and it's current meta?

Maybe it can shrink the terror radius after someone is rescued from hook. Something like "After a survivor is rescued from a hook 32 meters or more from you, your terror radius is reduced to 0 (or reduced by x meters) for 20 seconds."
Obviously the values would need to be played with. I feel this would make it strong, but discourage camping with it, making it strong for patrolling gens after hooking someone. Allowing you to sneak up on gens, and get a cheeky hit.
Just an idea though!

Why not make it an activated ability like and when activated you lose red stain and terror radius for a small amount of time. This way it keeps you mobile and you have a greater degree of control to activate it. Of course it would have to have a cool down and all that good stuff but it's just a base idea.
