When the killer is dumb but the survivors are even dumber

I was in this match where I get downed by a hillbilly. He picks me up to take me to the hook but on his way there he realizes he ######### up and that he's not going to be able to make it to the hook in time, so he drops me and decides he's going to camp me while I'm bleeding out. Now it takes a long time to die that way so he's going to be wasting a lot of time camping me and should I mention one gen has already been done.

Now if you were one of the other survivors in this situation what you do? Would you try to save me while hillbilly is standing over my body revving his chainsaw and won't move, OR do you do gens? Gens right? Well guess what. Not one, not two but all three survivors decide they are going to try and save me instead. They're crouched down, they see that hillbilly is camping my downed body and none of them run away to do gens. They eventually do save me by the way but then hillbilly quickly knocks me back down again and takes me to the basement hook and camps me there instead and then the other survivors get downed and then dc.

I bet you anything these survivors sent nasty messages to the killer calling him a camper after the game. I just had to shake my head and laugh. By far one of the most ridiculous games I have ever played and I've played a lot.

    Survivor behavior is an actual treat to watch. Everyone sees ggez streamer plays and want to mimic them, except they don't realize the streamers are actually putting thought and skill into their saves. Altruism kills more survivors than anything else.

    My favorite is when you put the survivor on the hook and not 1 second later someone is saving them, you grab them and find them a hook. Get called a camper lol

    The thing about it that I find the most annoying is that they end up rewarding the killer for camping and then survivors want to whine about killers who camp. This is why they do it because you got players like these who reward them for it. It's nice that they wanted to save me but if they would have just done gens it would have taught that killer a lesson not to camp like that. If survivors wouldn't reward camping we'd see it a lot less of it. I feel bad for the next group of survivors who ran into this killer. Hopefully they weren't as dumb.

    And, like, the only way you can stop them from doing this (sometimes) is by taking Kindred and hope they actually look at the other survivors when they crouch around the hook. And even then, they'll sometimes take everyone else sitting there as a sign that they're doing the right thing and refuse to move since nobody else is.

    The worse thing is when you are on a hook and NO ONE comes to haul over and save your ass! lol but yes camping like that esp to do gens...i mean i would come along over, peek whats the situation and in the situation you had, yeah i would do gens and do them bones
