Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Next balance update, plz check out Thanatopohbia

One perk I would love devs to take a look at is Thanatophobia.

The perk needs a boost. Even if you have all 4 survivors injured, the slowdown only adds 12 seconds total to a generator/heal. But even if you forgive that, the perk gets weaker as survivors are sacrificed. With each dead survivor, fewer survivors can be injured, which means slowed down less.

How to balance it though, I'm not sure. If killing a survivor makes the slowdown permanent, that's a Hex totem powerful, or at the very least, an Obsession perk. On the other hand, Thanatophobia means fear of death, and so each dead survivor should thematically compound that.

Speaking of Hex totems, addressing those in next balance pack would be great too.

the perk does need love... like you said the perk means fear of death... why not buff the effect a little more and then for those who have been hooked and saved they have a debuff effect for a time duration... like a 2min 25% repair/heal/opening exits!!! like why not? debuff... the perk would be viable

What I don't get is the perk as you said means fear of death so wouldn't seeing those around you be sacrificed or killed only bolster your fear so in that case I don't see why it doesn't count death as a stack

It's a weak perk for what it does, the fact that it does not affect dead survivors is a big deal, how often are you going to get 4 people injured at the same time? The only Killer possible with this is the Nurse

Or Freddy, since everyone misses thier first SC skillcheck.  Then again, he may not count as a killer.
