DBD can’t even run properly on current-gen consoles because it’s so terribly optimised. How do you expect a Switch, a handheld console, to do the same, if not better, than a home console?

I'd have to lose my progress, and I'm at over 125 levels worth of perks on my main man David right now. Not to mention all the grinding to re-acquire all those teachables. I only need Jake, Kate, 1 perk for Quentin (pharmacy, iirc?), and Jane to have all the survivor perks in the pool.
And then I'd need to redo trapper, huntress, Myers, clown, wraith, and bubba to catch back up to my current killer position (not to mention get a good 80-90 levels worth of perks back for trapper). That's hundreds of hours my dude

I have it for smash, odyssey, mario maker, breath of the wild, and soon, link's awakening. Plus random stuff that happens to be on it like DQ builders 1&2, rayman legends, mario party, etc.

The game is almost 6 gbs. I wonder if there's going to be a Day 1 patch. I've seen it on video and it seems to run much better than it was expected. The only problem I have is that I would have to start over, but my bf and I only have 1 laptop and 1 PS4 so we can never play together... but we have 2 Nintendos, so we would be playing together now. That is worth the restart for me.

Having to start from point zero again and I don't think this version is gonna have a lot of players.

Hopefully, they'll consider cross-platform progression.

If at least cross-platform progression would happen then I might consider getting it.
But still, how many people who own switch are gonna buy dead by daylight and play it often?
I for some reason don't think there will be a lot of players on that platform, I hope I am wrong

That's what I did on Steam. I first got the teachables I wanted, then leveled other characters.

40 Euro and im not even sure how it'll run.
Get atleast cross progression in there and I'll probably get it.
