Losing offerings bcs of dc ing

So, i tried to play a game as a killer, all Good till the loading screen, there was 2 bloody party, one from me and The other one from a survivor. Then a player dc in loading screen, i got that end screen and said a player left during the loading screen or smth and i lost my offering.

    Are you sure that you lost your offering? When a player leaves during the loading screen, it will now cancel the match and return your items/offerings without affecting your rank. If you did lose you offering, something went wrong there. If you're on PC and can grab your log file, we could take a look into it and possibly see what happened.

    this just happened to me today as a killer - was loading into the match when apparently someone disconnected to the Matchmaking was Cancelled. But when I returned to the main loadout screen - my offering was gone.

    Last night, while playing with friends on SWF, we ALL lost our offerings when the match was cancelled. Sure, we were sent back and we didn't lose rank, but we lost 2 bloody party streamers among other useful offerings.

    I guess I'll go look up how to grab my log file now... 🤨

    Hey I lost my Black Shard to a DC. I was loading and DC it just loaded and I ended up losing it. What happened was the same with this guy. What should I do?

    This happens to me often on PS4, I will use a good blood point offering and if someone DC's while in the loading screen my offering ends up gone and wasted.

    The offering is removed from your load-out and gets put back into your inventory.

    I used to think I lost my offering as well, but actually it just gets removed from your loadout, like Negan said. The devs haven't made this very clear that it's that that happens, which seem to confuse a lot of players, cause they expect it to remain in their loadout, like items and addons.

    Of course this bug exists. It's absolutely clear when you had only one offering and lost it when the match got canceled. No room for confusion.
