Suggestion for ds
I always find myself getting slugged as soon as I get off the hook because killers know I have ds.
I think a good fix for this would be something like this:
Getting put into the downed state will stop your ds timer until you get healed into the injured state by a teammate, and your timer will start where it left off.
Do you guys agree with this change?

If the change also includes DS being immediately reset after a hook, then yeah, I'm fine with that.

So then i should just slug everyone first hook to completely avoid ds then since it becomes a free escape again instead of an anti-tunnel tool?

yes. killers should be punished for tunneling and slugging.

No no, you misunderstand. DS would go away if you hook someone else, regardless of if the timer actually ran out or not, since if you hook someone else in 60 seconds, you CLEARLY aren't tunneling.

No I understood. I would want that. I just dont like it when killers will literally just slug me then watch me for 45 seconds to pick me up.

Perhaps DS timer drop to 15sec, but stop if you're being slugged or in 32m radius from the Killer (in terror radius from the Killer doesnt work because Myer Pig GF Wraith have no terror radius at some point). Survivor can not see the timer (to prevent he knows hes in 32m close to Killer), survivor can only see DS on or off.
I think 15sec away from Killer is good. A great tool to punish tunneler because DS will stay forever if Killer keep chasing a survivor. But not punish those who doesnt tunnel but somehow able to find & down that survivor a minute later.

Then they've given up most of their map pressure since in that time 3 gens could have been popped

Then it would have no counter. If the timer were reduced drastically then maybe, but no counter-play is the worst

Yeah maybe that is a little too much. How about the timer goes 3x slower when downed? So that way if the killer tunnels and slugs, he's just wasting a lot of time.

that is much better, that will give some counter play and not be such a pain to get slugged

Here is a better change:
If you are downed within the minute timer you will gain the ability to use DS upon your next pickup.
However, if someone else is hooked prior to you being put into the dying state your ability to gain DS is nullified. Your DS is also nullified upon a successful heal state. (Dying -> Injured or Injured -> Healthy)
