Idea for a change to Adrenaline
Adrenaline in the current state is a very powerful perk that changes drastically how a match plays out and is key to the no-heal meta that frankly I don't like much and I find a bit unhealthy for the game, and is the kind of perk that benefits greatly SWF but not much solos. Plus it feels terrible as a killer to see survivors heal and sprint away removing any pressure you managed to build up.
So recently I just had an idea to change it to make it feel more fair, but still useful: instead of a free heal/pick up and a sprint, when active Andrenaline would allow you to treat insta-downs as normal hits (maybe giving a deep wound timer).
It would still be a powerful endgame perk, but imo it would not change the gameplay so much as it does now. Plus it would be a lot more useful for solo survivors (who can't count on the others to cleanse totems) and a little less for swf teams, helping a little bit in closing the gap between the two. Thoughts?

Endurance against instadowns seems interesting, especially if killer has noed, which ussualy counters normal adrenalin.

Why not just give killer mains what they want and remove adrenaline and sprint burst along with tool boxes? They they can gripe about whatever becomes meta next. Maybe make it so all hits are instadown.
After all, can't have perks that reward survivor players for success.
The only reason adrenaline is so popular is killer mains got their way and destroyed self care.

Adrenaline is a great perk. Noone can argue with that. Probably one of the best survivor perk. This means it need a nerf? I dont think so. A perk can be strong an fair at the same time. Adrenaline is a dead slot until the end of the match, and this is a decent drawback in my opinion. It reward for playing good giving the little boost that can save you in dire situations, especially as a solo.
So yeah. Its a powerfull perk but i dont think it is unfair or over powered. Both killer and survivor have strong and fair perks as well as weak/broken ones.
Your suggestion is intresting, but it would be only good with a secondary effect. It would bee too much of a nerf like it was for MoM.
What happen if you are already injured? What if the killer doesnt even have an instadown? You just played with 3 perks the whole match. I would like to see this for another perk.

The only time it annoying is when you commit to slugging or tunneling

Adrenaline is not a problem, swf is. If no heal meta is that bad pick thana, they will heal.
