Can we talk about Ultra Rares?
Most ultrarares (ONLY ADDONS NOT OFFERINGS)
ODD-BULB
Are not ultra-rare material I.E. Back in the day the odd bulb was ultra-rare material (yes it was powerful but its ultra-rare for a reason.)
BRAND NEW PART
Brand new part - Allowed to do a full gen with it if you could hit your skillchecks, Greats being 10% and Goods being 5% If you missed a skillcheck OR got interupted by the killer The brand new part would be gone and you couldnt use it anymore,
After patch 2.1.0 You Can only do 15% of the gen , Going to 25 if you hit both (pretty easy) skillchecks,
INSTAHEALS
Items such as an instaheal (The syringe) Will do 2 healthstates, being used on yourself if you can properly do the timing and get straight back up for 2 full healthstates, Or The purple ( the pills ) Will heal you one healthstate ,
SOME KILLER ULTRA-RARES
Iridescent head, Probably the BEST ultrarare in the game, alongside prayer beeds and mother daughter ring
Or even Redheads pinky finger, Allows an insta down if you hit them directly with a bottle
All im saying is that Survivors Ultra-rares really are not ultra-rare material except for the instaheals, and almost all of the killer ones are, Making it hard to find a odd bulb or a brand new part in your bloodweb doesnt matter as most people just skip over them nowadays with how useless they are.

Survivor ultra rares have to be less powerful because of the potential of 4 of them to be in a game.

You clearly dont understand that the game is a 1v4..otherwise youd understand that not only are they still powerful but shouldnt be as powerful as each thing a survivor has can be multiplied up to 4 times..killers cannot

The addon system is stupid to begin with - Ultra rares you mention especially. How are the devs balancing this game when such huge leaps in power are present?
It doesn't make sense that either killer or survivor can be so much more powerful "every once in a while". The argument that "They're rare, you won't see them every game" does nothing to address the fact that these addons provide huge spikes in power that can make bad killers viable,strong killers OP, and survivors infinitely more annoying in games where the addons are utilized properly. The fact going against triple instaheal survivor or irid/belt huntress only happens "once in a while" doesn't fix the problem or solve the imbalance in the loadout at all.
Just balance the game around killers' base powers already and scrap addons. They make no sense from a balance perspective and just make it feel like you're dropped into an super difficult game every once in a while.

you 2, Im not saying they should be OvErPowErD i'm simply saying they are useless as in no one will use them to baraly anyone will, I.E. Toolboxes Just bring repair addons you can get 150% repair speed with them Faster then a brand new part, Flashlights Just bring batteries The timings the same on it anyways

I play survivor too. BNP is underwhelming,Flashlights aren't good in general. Instaheals and Commodious toolboxes are the real pains because they make a survivor vastly better in one dimension, while the game objectives remain the same.
My point is that the addon system kills balance. Instaheals or super fast repair speed being unknown quantities that may or may not exist are terrible to play against just like going up against a regular wraith vs Silent Bell wraith is a huge difference. The inconsistency sucks.

BNP isn't too bad, especially if you save it for endgame. Any ultra rare that isn't consumed on use has to be weaker because, unlike killers, survivors get to keep their items if they live. Hence why odd bulb isn't super strong anymore.

Odd-Bulb doesnt need to be super powerful, but it needs to be somethign thats worth taking in I.E. 5 second blind time, or even faster blinding to counter light born, something like that instead of just making the time longer by 1 second, no one uses them and its clear to me why

Because they're used to things that allow them to 1v1 the killer. By comparison, this will look weak, but it's actually the other things that are too powerful.

Addons as buffs is a terrible idea to begin with.
It would be much better to have addons be for sidegrades so you can customize your power/item without necessarily increasing it's overall effectiveness.

I read this so many times, and it's not totally true. Almost all good things a survivor can use affect only him/her (adrenaline, BL, ...) or is a one use only (instaheal, Brand new part,... ) . But things that use killers usually affect all survivors (moris, B&C, Iridescent head) and last all the game.

I don't use flashlights as I need to practice with them and I don't like to be an #########.
I don't use the Brand New Part because it takes he fun out of the game and makes the match go by faster. It is incredibly boring when the Gens just go like that, I get sad when people bring in the BNP. But I won't deny that it is useful.
I have never used an insta heal because I don't have many of them, atm I am stocking up on them.
My only gripe about Survivor Ultras is that they are boring and though made with good intentions I refuse to use them because I feel they are bad for the game.

ok? i doubt that considering barally anyone brings BNP's Or Odd Bulb's Quick question What rank are you? considering those players probably dont know that bnp is slower then speed up addons (even though rank doesnt matter because theres still dogshit survivors at rank 1 )

Yes..because everything a survivor can get can be stacked 4 times..therefore it makes sense survivor reds would not be as powerful, it's not rocket science

To put it into equivalent terms, 1 brand new part is 1/4 of a generator. Each survivor makes up 1/4 of a team so 1 instant generator between them is a fairly substantial impact.
Yes, killer stuff is very strong, and arguably some need nerfs, but that doesn't mean that EACH survivor should be able to bring in items that can singlehandedly control the outcome of the match. They have to be balanced with the idea that there are potentially 4 of them within a match.
Rarity is NOT a measure of balance, especially considering you usually get an ultra rare on level 50 bloodwebs. It is not outrageous to discuss balance assuming SWF, or every pre-match lobby chat, can coordinate strategy.

Sorry for the double quote, but honestly as a wraith main, silent bell build honestly ranks #2 on best wraith builds #1 is hunter wraith with windstorm-blood and all-seeing-blood, also silent bell is only useful on a few maps where as hunter is useful in all maps

Brand New Part is useful, especially if the gen was at 99% and the killer had PGTW, you can use BNP and counter the regression.
Do I think it’s Ultra Rare worthy tho? Nope.

Here's thing. It's not "ultra rare survivor ad ons need to win the game easy."
It's "ultra rare survivor ad ons are kinda crap." simple example is brand new part. Why bring it? It's not worth the space.
