Hitboxes
So i started playing this game not too long ago and as a survivor main i always taught myself that the hitboxes are because of the server connection. But sometimes the servers feel really good, no lag, no bug, everything seems alright, but then i got chased to the killer shack. I was literally out of the animation of the vault and on the ground and this trapper just hit me trough the window. Although i was so far away and seemingly impossible to hit i get this problem over and over. Are the hitboxes really so broken? What do you guys think?( To be honest im not the best survivor but these hitboxes are sometimes so hilarious. / Console/)

You can be hit through windows regardless of vaulting. The killers swing doesn't stop at the window.

It's not supposed to happen, but for some reason people promote it with the notion that it IS normal. In 2018, you wouldn't have been hit. :)

Most of these complaints about being hit through a window when you have clearly moved out the way are mainly from THIS year(so are the observations of survivors fidgeting around the ground after being hit through a window after a vault). This is because of the momentum change they made to survivors after vaulting.
If you look back to videos of DBD BEFORE this change, you wouldn't see any of this.

Yeah I already knew that but i was stepping away from it, making it impossible to hit me but they sometimes do. But thanks!

In 2018 you definitely would've been hit also, even with green pings there's gonna be latency.
Also the vast majority of console player's don't use LAN, it sucks.

I disagree, when Spirit was released, it was the peak of this problem (at least for me) I kept getting hit 2-3m away from the vault (on the other side).

Rather than all, I'll say most for you.
In 2018, It never happened to me. All of these BS hits started happening after the momentum change in 2.5.0.

Wasn't 2.5.0 Spirit's midchapter update?
