Who cares? It is horror, they are adults, and you know what they mean by humanoid (can't walk on 4 legs) so stop arguing semantics.

Laurie and Quinten were both 17 in their respective movies. You can't say "quieten doesn't exist" because he does. You're cherry picking your choice of information.

You're using the same logical fallacies that you are complaining about. You're projecting your own issues in an argument. You complained about me ignoring your comment, and once again you ignored a part of my message. I responded to all of yours. Do you consider Alien, Pans Labyrinth, or Silence of the Lambs horror movies?

I would not put goonies into that mix. I can see parallels to Goonies in ST, but I would consider ST to have a subcategory of horror and Goonies to not. To be very specific I don't think ST is ONLY horror, but I consider it a mix o several genres, like most horror films are. Halloween is Horror/Suspense, Dead Alive is Horror/Comedy, Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a horror Comedy too.

You're bringing your own examples and making logical leaps. No one mentioned meerkats, ad you're the one claiming they are humanoid based on a definition that YOU wrote out as mine. You haven't given a definition of how you discern something as humanoid. Do you feel it needs a face? Two eyes, a nose and a mouth? Does it need to have five fingers? How do you define it? You aren't using the generalized definition, so I'm curious what qualifiers you consider are necessary for that term.

And you're welcome to be done. I'm not forcing you to respond, but you're on a public forum and I want to know why you're posting what you're posting. You can choose to respond and carry the conversation or just not respond. But if you make a bold claim I will vocalize my disagreement if I feel necessary.

Haha people in this thread complaining about the killer's power when we don't even have any information, and insistently not understanding the fact that Behaviour sticks to killers that walk upright and have four limbs to maintain a consistent animation rig.

i think that's pretty much beside it look like it take most of his horror stuff elements of other show/ universe so yea...

I got into it because I like Dungeons and Dragons and a group of characters like playing it. You don't see it a lot, but the references are nostalgic.

Some hipsters like it, some don't.

It's a series that a lot of people enjoy so it's an alright chance you probably will like it, but it's not for everyone.

It is fun to also try and pinpoint what random references to some of my favorite movies are in it. Also I love Winona Ryder.

It doesn't come from DnD, the children who play Dungeons and Dragons try and use their knowledge from their nerdy hobby to try and explain why their world is "turning upside down" and going crazy.

A quick search on Google shows me that a "humanoid" is something that resembles a human in appearance without actually being one. A good example would be the T-800 (without the human exterior).

Horror is very personal. Most people aren't going to find most horror movies scary. There are some universal fears that exist, but those are done so often that you need a twist to really make those classic fears/scares effective.

Most horror is going to be only scary when you pair it with things that the viewer personally relates to and fears at an irrationally higher level (or sometimes personally historically rational).

Fear of diseases, fears of being murdered by a loved one, going crazy, etc.

Horror gets a bad wrap because people treat anything that shows dimension, drama, mystery, thrill, etc. as being of that genre and not involving both.

There is a reason a lot of people say horror movies aren't scary, it's because they aren't watching the ones THEY would find scary. They are simply watching a horror flick that doesn't resonate with the fears of their internal structure.

Also when it comes to the more generalized ones, the most effective fear implementing strategies in horror revolve around more complex systems which aren't really possible to construct in a game like Dead by Daylight in gameplay, but solely in lore.

Being eternally trapped in a death game where you never leave IS TERRIFYING. But we can always set down the controller and make some popcorn before we throw on Clue or Airplane.

It is totally valid to say something doesn't scare you, but it scaring you personally and it being of the horror genre are very different. There are plenty of horror movies that don't feel scary at all but still involve horrifying subject matter.

Always funny when people are hyped like 8 year olds only because of a tv show, like there's nothing more left in this world. But well, that's how it works today.

    Ok let me dissect this.

1 - It IS humanoid. The definition of humanoid according to good is, "having an appearance or character resembling that of a human." Which the demogorgon does have, if you can't see that or don't think that then i don't know what to tell you. Secondly you say it is bipedal, which according to google is, "(of an animal) using only two legs for walking." Which also does, however this doesn't mean it can't be humanoid, so while you are correct, you are also wrong. The demogorgon is humanoid AND bipedal. Even the wiki uses the terms humanoid, and bipedal to describe the demogorgan, so you are wrong and right, if that makes you feel better. :)

2 - Stranger Things is a also horror. While it's not direct horror, it does have horror elements. The wikipedia also says, "Stranger Things is an American science fiction HORROR  web television series created by the Duffer Brothers and released on Netflix." But then what makes it horror, well according to wikipedia, "Characteristics. One defining trait of the horror genre is that it provokes an emotional, psychological, or physical response within readers that causes them to react with fear." Which stranger things does do at certain times, so yes, it is a horror.

3 - No. It is not a shallow excuse. The Entity can take survivors and killers whenever it likes, it could totally take a Demogorgon from season 2 and take Nancy and Steve from the 3rd season. And even if they were still children or teens, it would still be allowed since Laurie is 17, and Quinten is also 17 too, when they were taken from their debut films (The 1st Halloween film, the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.). So it is NOT a shallow excuse.

P.S. I saw your response of that they're seniors in the movies, well that doesn't mean they can't be 17. For example My birthday is in August, By the time I graduate from highschool I will still be 17, so yeah, once again your logic is BS. And Quentin doesn't exist? Yeah you're just spitting out random BS to save yourself at this point, google searches literally disprove all your points.

soon the demagorgon, once a feared and almighty monster, will experience how it is to run endless circless around wooden planks and watch its prey leave and taunt it in defeat.

    poor thing...
