Make Jake Great Again!
Other than any potential lore stuffs for Jake...
I suggest making sabotage a generic perk for all survivors and giving Jake a new perk. One that would add some neat gameplay, I think anyway.
Give him a new perk to lift pallets back up. It takes time, skill checks and signals to the killer but if the pallet isn't broken, it can be lifted.
Possibly even limit the number of times you can pick one up per trial.

It's already annoying to have 2-4 toolkits in a match these days. I always see people 99% every hook and then break it when I'm about to hook someone.
If people could just sabo at will, without either a perk slot or toolkit, there'd be 0 point to playing Killer.
Add to that that pallets are a one-time use. They already remove Bloodlust (lord knows why. Bloodlust is USELESS unless every pallet is broken. IE: 10 seconds before everyone leaves/dies) so being able to reset them would be a HARD Killer nerf.

Although it is rare, people do sabotage and if they’re efficient at it you’ll be playing one really annoying game.

I've been noticing at least two toolboxes in a lot of games as well lately. I've also seen more people trying to sabotage hooks but it mostly being done poorly.

Yea this would suck for killers even if you make hang trick a standard for everyone.

There are some killer perks that should be generic perks like bloodhound or predator (Wraith teachables). It would be great to have more useful perks for him.

I went up against 2+ survivors saboing hooks. Very annoying, had to slug a few times. It was a good game, sabo is good when used effectively

The OP wasn't suggesting that it should be base kit for all survivors, but a generic perk that you can get in all character's bloodwebs without having to unlock any teachables

You're right. I completely derped on that. I blame the fact that the building's central AC broke Saturday morning and it's consistantly been 90F (32.2C) every day so far. x.x

No, broken pallets aren't allowed. Only if they're down. You don't reassemble them, just pick them up.
Not sure if it would break the game but if survivors had anything interesting to do outside of gens, like lifting pallets, it would slow the game but also possibly extend chases. Not that they'd do it

I think it would be better if they buffed the hook downtime to 4 minutes or buffed saboteur to keep hooks down for twice as long. 2 minutes is not a long time, and chances are that you'll be downed after the hooks have respawned.

No. I've had games where Survivors sabo EVERY HOOK (besides basement). It would be impossible to hook anyone and it would lead to nothing but slugging.
Hook sabo times are fine.

But because hook respawn times were so short and applied so little pressure, you were able to hook them. Understand that when survivors are sabotaging, they aren't on gens and aren't getting any closer to completing the objective. If survivors are spending most of their time sabotaging, it might be a long game, but it's an easy win as killer.
Also, I was wrong; The time it takes for a hook to respawn is 3 minutes, not 2. They should at least buff saboteur since 30 seconds doesn't even add a quarter of respawn time.

It takes, like, 30 seconds to hook. Then they are down for 3 minutes. 3:30 with the perk.
That's 3 minutes you can't be hooked if you stay on that side of the map. Where most matches run MAYBE 6 minutes in total.
There does not need to be a buff to the sabo timer. Again; this would make slugging the meta, and then Survivors would complain MORE about being slugged after they sabo every hook on a map & the Killer had no choice.

The guy I played ran no mither and unbreakable I think. So he was having his fun. Until he died.
But I'm not wanting a Sabo buff. I want a new perk for good ole Jake.
