Legacy skins not mentioned in dev update?

So I came back to this game after playing it back in 2016 to find all my progress gone, nothing to show for the few hundred hours spent in 2016 - so I did some searching and I saw they made a post about getting progress back that you lost if you submit a ticket, so I submitted a ticket and they gave me enough bloodpoints to get roughly back where I was, and re-prestiged the characters I had prestiged again.

However they said they couldn't return the legacy skins "at this time" and "Please follow our official community page for updates: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/"

But I've searched around the forums and all I can find is people with similar issues who lost progress and got progress restored but without their legacy skins, no mention of anything related to the legacy skins and if/when they can get returned.

So, is there any actual news on when this'll be a thing that happens? Or has it been mentioned elsewhere I couldn't find?

    The devs don't seem to care unfortunately. They're too worried about them getting into the hands of someone who didn't earn them.

    Ahh, well it's not a huge loss since I only had a few prestige to begin with, but still it seems like a bit of a joke that they deleted things earned and won't give them back - especially when there's apparently cheaters just unlocking this stuff anyway and playing on :(

    They actually did give skins back if you had a old save file but people found a way to manipulate that and because of it they stopped doing it but yeah try contacting support they can give you compensation atleast get your bloodpoints for it.

    Ahh, I don't think I'd even have a save file at this point either though anyway. It doesn't sound like a particularly good method to verify though - but they could totally just look at my steam achievement unlock dates, no?


    I'll maybe keep an eye out on the developer updates and submit another ticket in the future, I've gotten back into the game and been enjoying it quite thoroughly and I'm pretty envious when I see people with the legacy skins haha, it's worse knowing I should have them :[
