9500 hours in game?
I just saw someone with 9500 hours in this game. How?
Can someone even do the math? I've never seen anything like it.

My guess is they may leave the game open and just minimized a lot. I knew a guy who did something like that in Destiny and had crazy hours even though he didn't have the light levels to back it up.0

thats just over a year ingame.
thats only being on half the time. no biggie.1 -
@TheXenoborg If that person really spent half of the last 2 years on the game, you my friend may have actually found The Forty Year Old Virgin living in his parents basement.

I thought they used some bot or external program to "increase" those hours or something. I don't even know if something like that exists. But maybe it IS likely that the person just spent 395+ days in the game. I just find that really strange.Yeah, there are programs to increase the number.
Some trading card idlers allow you to run 30 Steam games at once and Steam will record playtime for all of the games at once making your total play hours during 2 week period way over the hours there are for 2 weeks time. And they only tell Steam that your game is running while it isn't.0 -

Never seen anyone getting any kind of reaction from Valve/Steam about that. Lot's of people fake played hours or "play" games they do not own or cannot be played such as Steam, Steam Beta Client, etc to modify their profile pages.
Lot's of traders use idlers to collect trading cards and profit from it by idling more than one game at a time.

They "fix" other stuff why not their hours.

Could be QA (Quality Assessment), or just someone who leaves the game on 24/7.
