just gonna say, i love Surge
whether its a good perk or not, i dont really care. i just love the idea of hitting a survivor and as they fall to the ground theres like 2 or 3 explosions around me. also, im guessing the answer is yes, but just to be sure, does this also work up and down floors? im on 2nd floor, will it regress a gen on 1st floor?

I am mostly curious if Surge will work with Overcharge. I.E. if I down a survivor and it regresses the generators, will the generators also have Overcharge applied to them?

I can't wait for people to stack surge with huntress' lullaby and get that fat 28% regression on all generators withing 32m.

I feel like Surge will live or die based on Synergy. If the Explosion counts as a failed Skillcheck, then Huntress Lullaby will be nasty with it. If it counts as just regressing Generators and getting Overcharge or Pop if it's active? That's the dream baby.
If it has no synergy it'll exist for a week before being removed from anything that's not an Adept Demogorgon IMO.

Great perk idea. I do think it becomes a broken perk if com ined with OC and HL. That would be too powerful and too easy for the killer. I do think Ruin should work with it.
1. Ruin directly affects the gens. Therefore they are affected by the additional penalties if it is still active.
2. HL affects the survivors, not the gen. The gen impact is due to the survivors messing up because of HL.
3. Overcharge requires direct interaction with the killer and then the survivor.

basically, the survivors get the ''kicked'' interaction from Surge and Survivors then interact with it again. Thus it would be cool if Overcharge would combine well with Surge. I think that 32 meters isn't a big enough radius though

If Surge works with other gen perks, I would run Surge, Overcharge, Surveillance/Thrilling Tremors, and Pgtw. No one's touching my gens easily and without my knowing.

It does not. You'll need to kick the generator to activate those (currently, at least). Since those perks activate when you kick a generator, you need to actually kick a generator, not just cause it to explode with a perk.
If someone is on the generator at the time, it will cancel the regression and you'll be able to kick it for PGTW afterwards, though.
