What's the point of 2 new perks?
What's the point of using second wind and inner chase? I don't get it, especially for the fact that you can bring a medikit that allows you to heal up to 4 health states with max charges.
Second wind is passive, but surely not worthy, 1 you can live even without it, 2 if you needed to heal faster than those 20 seconds you wouldn't be able to do it
Inner chase is not that useful, especially if you have to waste 20+ seconds to search a totem, break it, find a locker, wait , and reach a gen. Not worthy at all

So Inner Strength, start of the match break a totem, work on a Gen and get hit but escape. You hide in a locker for 8 seconds and BAM, healed up and it took half the time your Med-kit or SC did.
Second Wind, why waste time on healing when you can be doing Gens? While you work on the Gen you get healed.
These perks are all about not wasting time doing stupid ######### and getting the Gens done. These are anti anti-heal perks, Sloppy Butcher? Who the ######### cares, Thana? Who the ######### cares, Coulro? ######### that I'm getting in a locker for 8 seconds.

and then you fight plague and cry.

I'll definitely be running second wind a lot. Pair it with deliverance and you can basically negate the killer's pressure when first hooked if you're able to save someone before you get hooked.

For inner strength i think you are missing the point. You should cleanse the totems in advance, so you can use it when you need to. Id also like to mention if you bring quick and quiet you might be able to sneak a heal in the middle of a chase as you only need to fool the killer for 10-8 seconds.

Some people are thinking about totems wrong. Cleanse the ones you see don't go on a goose hunt for them. That makes inner strength way more useful as well.
1 -
I'll laugh lol those moments are hilarious.
1 -
Nope, because that will cost you being broken for 80 seconds, not 20, as said in the livestream. The killer's terror radius reaches you before you automatically fully heal, and you're basically m1able.

Using this on the game will be really weird

ah, good to know!

Why bring a med kit when you can bring a toolbox and actually be of use to your team. These are basically options that allow you to heal and do tasks you should already be doing. Dwight's will have new excuses to use lockers!

So seaching and doing a totem is not timewasting? As well as finding and healing another survs a full health state? Sorry man, but thats so wrong.

When it also removes the possibility of noed, which people ######### about constantly? No, it's not wasting time.
3 -
You don't do bones? No totems? They not important to you, I like that, everyone does, good attitude :) keep living fearlessly.

I love inner strength. It's the perfect nerf to Noed.
0 -
So survivors should just let NOED activate while also leaving all their teammates injured? You must be a really fun player to have on your team.

It doesnt work if already broken, the deliverance broken stops second wind from procing
0 -
Plague would do the same with Self Care and Medkits ...

I guess some people think of some perks individually. Me, well...
Babysitter + Mettle of man + We're gonna live forever.
Inner strength + Small game + Head On.
Surge + Pop goes the weasel + Overcharge + Surveillance.

I'm already used to that, every time I decide to bring out an "Everlasting Medkit" build it summons a plague anyway.

At high ranks nearly noone does totems. And healing is also more rare cause its time wasting. I can assume you never play high ranks and dont know the meta.
0 -
The point of them is to deny your allies altruism bloodpoints, and benevolence emblems.
Stack it up with Deliverance and watch your teammates depip around you.

I've been reaching red ranks as both roles every season for over a year now, healing isn't time wasting, self caring is time wasting and high rank survivors are usually the ones who cry about NOED, myself included. This peek encourages people to spend time doing totems while also rewarding them by giving them a free heal in return, while also removing NOED which practically every killer other than Nurse, Hillbilly, and Spirit use at high ranks. I can assume you never play high ranks and don't know the meta.

Thanks to the killer mains in this game survivors are no longer allowed to have "meta" perks. Meanwhile every chapter they continuously get meta perks. MoM was the last good perk, and look what happened. /thread

Inner Strenght:
- Equip Decisive also
- Do a totem
- When you get unhooked and the Killer tunnels you, jump into a locker. You will be healed.
- Killer can not slug you cuz you got healed, if he grabs you, use Decisive
- Profit

That's why I see at least 5 threads per week with "Nerf NOED", because no one does totems 😅.

The last meta perk killers got was Spirit Fury a year ago and even that can be countered easily.

MoM was OP as *******.
Getting rewarded, because the killer hit you. And then 4 survivor can use it without real downside.
Survivor only said that they get weak perks, because the survivor meta perks are rly strong.
And only Noed has the same strength.
0 -
That will only work if inner strength does not require 8 interrupted seconds in a locker, which it probably will.
0 -
Selfcare/Medkits don't work if you're at max infection. It's why Thana is so good on her.
0 -
The only problem I have with second wind is that it punishes you for getting tunneled. It already has a prerequisite for it to activate so why does it also need the terror radius condition?
0 -
That's literally what I said 🤣.

Sorry, I misunderstood the post. It's what happens when I haven't had my morning coffee.
Still, I do worry about these perks. Healing is one way of slowing the game down. Most high rank matches are done in under ten minutes as it is. These perks just speed it up even more.
0 -
Yeah, but WHEN was the last time survivors got a meta changing perk? MoM doesn't count now, so when was the last perk and how long ago was it?
0 -
Oof, that's a good point. As a solo survivor, I already deal with people running away from my heals or self-caring in my face so they get the points. Now these perks will exacerbate things.
But I'll be running them myself, so.. hopefully they give Survival points for healing.
0 -
Oh believe me, once someone uses it once to avoid me getting points from healing them, they aren't getting a heal from me later.
It's the same as Deliverance, if someone jumps off the hook unnecessarily just for their own bloodpoints, they'll get minimal help from me from then on.
