Queue times for Killer when DLC drops...
So... Just thinking of something...
I wonder how many new people BHVR projects might come in to play the game once the DLC drops.
Cause.... There seems to be have been an increase in killers vs survivors the last few months, to where the queue times for killer are getting longer and longer.
How many of those new people do we expect to actually stick to survivor. Cause... If more seasoned players have dropped survivor to play killer, why wouldn't the new people be any different.
I won't be surprised that there would be more new players wanting to play as the killer than survivor.
I'm putting my bet on that the killer queues are going to get insanely longer when the DLC drops. Not just the normal longer queue times when a new killer comes out... I think it will be a sustained longer queue time weeks and weeks after it drops.

I think it'll be a bit better than other chapters, since in my head people would rather play as either Nancy/Steve first, then give the Demigorgon a try once they've given survivor a fair shake.
But maybe that's just me.

It'll be fine there are 2 new survivors to try out and we haven't had a new survivor in ages.

All that camping and tunneling will make those would be survivors more tempted to switch to killer or just quit. That's why I say Stranger Things will not save a thing.

I think it will depend on the nurse changes too. Survivor queue times will rise, especially in higher ranks when they mess up the nurse in some way.

@StupidButTru I don't think it is a question of "saving" anything.
With dedicated servers not in play when the DLC comes out. The Match Making is going to be brutal.
Rank 1s will be matched with Rank 16s and below, probably most matches.
The dedicated servers would split people up and hopefully improve match making times.
Without those dedicated servers... I think it will be a ######### show for sure.
Combined with playing survivor.. especially as a new player... will be hot garbage. Cause those new players won't have any teachables unlocked to try the new survivors. So they will get hammered probably most matches.
Even with playing survivor, I won't be surprised those queue times go way up. Whenever there is a big influx of players playing at once, it seems like their match making can't keep up.
We got up to 75K once.. What is going to happen if 100K people all of a sudden drop in.

Idk. My buddy hasnt played in a long time, watches vids and me play, but is super excited for steve. He couldnt care less about the map or killer, he literally only wants to play steve.
I'm sure it will be an even split, and that may be why they gave us two survivors. More incentive to play that side.

I think it might be worse trying to play Survivor because there’s two of them this time. Queue times for both sides will go up, but it won’t be as bad as you think.

Same, but I have no reason not to main Demogorgan even if he isn't that good. because I enjoy that killer.

You can feel that way you're entitled to your own feelings, but for me I'm not giving up a dime to these guys until they balance their game and stop working around the problem.

Honestly Id play surv after the drop since
1. It would be quicker getting into matches.
2. It is far more efficient to play surv for BP.
Only downside to it though is surv is pretty boring with the only thing to do is work a gen and gtfo cause all the tryhards are going to bring their 10mil second chance builds and try to run the killer for 5 gens

Gen rushing at rank 20 is like finding a Unicorn in God's #########, most survivors are already bots in Green ranks and don't get me started on the 20s.

Well considering 3 points
1. Killer times will be long enough that you can play 2-3 games as surv.
2. With killer you have to have a very specific set of addons to even have a chance at making a substantial amount of points (which is offset by the cost of the addons)
3.it is not Impossible for a survivor to make a similar amount of BP as the killer
