Iron Maiden Perk tweak
So now that we are gonna get inner strength. I think it is time iron maiden got the buff it needs. Survivors will scream and reveal their location when entering a locker (instead of leaving). And gain the exposed effect for 25 seconds.
Or Survivors get injured by staying in a locker for longer than 4 seconds and scream and reveal their location when injured. No exposed effect on this iteration. this fits better with lockers becoming actual iron maiden's.
Calm spirit counters the scream, and iron maiden counters inner strength. And the game is balanced as all things should be :P

How to make all lockers totaly pointless and worthless at the same time.
No. This would be very overpowered and this will not make game more balanced, in fact, making it even worse.

What about this? Something that can help killers gain early pressure, but doesn't make lockers a dangerous option for survivors when they are in a dire situation.
Iron Maiden traps survivors in the locker they enter for 15 seconds, then they are teleported to one of the lockers in the killer shack.
Once they exit the locker, they are exposed for 40/50/60 seconds and they will scream (which reveals their location).
Doesn't work on survivors who are on their sacrifice hook.

Thats way to powerful its like an hex but its not teleport directly to the killer shack and 60s its alot the only change that i can see this its make 6s reveal survivor auras that go out of the locker and 30s of expose status effect with this change will make a fair balance

iron maiden is fine , it does its job well

Its not fine the exposed effect should then atleast last 30 seconds, the timer already starts when you push the exit locker animation that takes like 2-3 seconds (slow) so that means the killer only has actually 12 seconds to hit you wich you can avoid by simply running in straight line if the killer is anywhere but right at the closet.

thats the point tho, its main function is to tell you whos hiding in a locker , the exposed effect is like a bonus just in case you catch up to someone who got out recently

It could use a buff, as it is rather weak and generally not worth a perk slot if your name isn't huntress. How about this. If in the locker for more than 10 seconds while outside the killer's terror radius you then scream to reveal your location. Also regardless of walking or running for the duration of the exposed effect you will leave scratch marks. It also maintains the current effects it has as well of exposed and revealed when exiting the locker. Makes long term hiding in a locker not an option (which is honestly just as good for your team as it is the killer if you have a dead beat doing that) and also adds a bit more tracking while not making the very lack luster exposed time frame any better.

Why is everyone trying to make lockers even more useless than they already are? Why should a perk deny a game mechanic completely?

If thats the mentality, then getting hit and having BT trigger should not count as a "safe unhook".

I think the perk is fine as it is right now

It shouldn't. It should only count after the unhooked has mended.

My idea:
Upon exiting a locker, the Survivor's Aura is revealed for 5 seconds and they gain Exposed status effect for 10 seconds and additional 5 seconds for each second spent in a locker, up to 40/50/60 seconds.
This makes it so they don't get punished as heavily if they spend (let's say) 4-5 seconds there to hide from BBQ but they expose themselves to danger if they try to load Inner Strength

This is such a great idea. I absolutely love the idea of time spent resulting in addittional seconds on the exposed. You should make a new thread with this suggestion and hopefully someone with influence sees it :)

I mentioned this in my (quite long) thread with perk balance ideas but will find and post it separately. Maybe it creates a high-effort discussion
