Ps4 ruin vs Pc ruin
Pc - can't work through ruin better find it fast or else the rest of the team aren't gonna be able to cope

Jokes aside ik ruin is a strong perk but it's the most rng perk in the game imo. Random spawn point and random effectiveness depending on how often skillshecks come up. Then again pop goes the weasel is a fair alternative to ruin and maybe I should run that instead. Can't wait for surge

I cant say for sure on PS but sometimes survivors do work through Ruin on PC.

The game isn't healthy at high ranks. I suggest ranking down and hoping they don't spawn on top of ruin. I've gotten 4ks on PS4 BP farming on hag just because they want to pop ruin so bad. At mid ranks if they don't find it or can't get to it due to your protection it can last almost half the game.

When im survivor, unless I happened to bring small game, which I sometimes do, I always work through it. Some killers are so over reliant on it that I can pop 2-3 gens on my own before even actually seeing them, because they are paying way too much attention to the area where their totem is.

I watch a lot of PC streamers and the teams on there are constantly working through ruin.

I’m in ps4 and when ruin is up you’ll be sitting in a game for 15 mins a gen hasn’t been done

You basically lose the game on PS4 If Ruin is up for more than 5 minutes. Ruin skill checks seem to be extremely hard for console users to hit for some reason lol

I wish it was like this on PS4. Games last 45 minutes cause I’m the only one doing a gen while everyone is running around looking for the totem

Framerate. You have to time the hit before it reaches the mark or you won't get it. Consoles still seize when changes occur, such as when the EGC begins, you become Exposed, or you take a hit while running. Watching PC vids and playing on console there is a slight gap in making that vault or getting hit on the other side.

I would like some reverse psychology there, PC is significantly easier to hit the checks. PS4 players f up a gen in red ranks every 25 seconds.

i can confirm both scenarios happen in both platforms, i had a long streak of survivors not working with ruin up on ps4, tho nowadays it barely happens to me, and i see ppl or videos where it happens on pc too

Whoever told you this is a liar my friend. I play on both PC and PS4 on my monitor and the frames on the PS4 are a ######### show.

Part of the issue on console is lag and framerates. It's hard to hit greats when your frames lie to you.

I mean, I hit them pretty consistently. With a bit of practice they become pretty easy even on Console. I just don't understand why people at my rank have so much trouble hitting them.

It's easy enough to get to red ranks, that's why. I can't last in chases very well but as long as I keep playing I hit R1. I'm getting better at Hex checks, in my defense. I can hit them more consistently now, which is great since I usually stay on gens anyway.
