The POWER Ghostface Truly Deserve
Okay now it's been a while since Ghostface dropped and he is not well recieved from both killers or survivors. A killer who I can safely say was designed sloppily and was in other words not what I expected. I really thought a killer like Ghostface would have an ability to teleport locker to locker, or an ability to track survivor by his infamous line of "I SEE YOU".
No instead they gave us a bad orgy of Myers, Pig, and Legion. In PTB his ability was usless because he was revealed easily, in release his ability was OP because he couldn't be broken out of his ability, now it's a 50/50 you break him out or it doesn't work despite starting directly at him.
I wanna hear some ideas for GF that would've fit his personalitiy and his power vs just this 5 dollar remake of Myers.

Before i opened this i was thinking; "It's going to be that locker thing again isn't it?"
Lo and behold.
He's fine as he is, so i'll say no thanks.

He fine for being a cheap Myers knock off, it's too easy to stalk and the fact you can run faster than a survivor this was a bailout, and lazy. P.B.P.

Ghost Face is rather weak. It's enough 1 Object of Obsession and you don't have a power. SWF teams will always keep an eye on you and will transform you in a M1 killer that can turn his TR off from time to time. His power cooldown is so long, then playing Ghost Face without power recovery rate add-ons is atrocious. You can get revealed behind cover. And he can't even camp with his power unlike Pig and Wraith because even hooked and dying survivors can reveal you, even if you are behind something.

The revealing is still hella broken. I got these clips in one chase

I'm still confused why ppl say Ghostface against Object is useless. I've seen Object running SWF get boot stomped by Ghostface and have done it myself. It's impossible to communicate pinpoint locations to Surviviors on every map (ever try telling someone where the killer is on the Game? Or Lerys? It's a wreck lemme tell ya). Object gives you a pinpoint look but bc there's a human behind that pinpoint look, they can only give a general idea of where the killer is.
Not to mention object already carries a massive weakness of exposing the Survivior to the killer.
Either way. Ghostface as a killer is fine. He is not a Myers knockoff. He has defining characteristics that make him what I would argue an A tier killer.

He really isnt, without addons or perks there is absolutely no way he can get past the purple ranks. He cant chase. And hes way to obvious for his power to work against good survivors.
I wanted it too be good so badly, even after the buff, but its only meh

Ghostface is honestly fine, his revealing could be a bit more consistent for both sides but that's about it. I was expecting to see this locker idea too but yeah, why does everyone want a locker killer? Besides, this isnt the Ghostface from Scream, it's an original killer using the licensed mask, that's it.

So I will be the first to actually respond to the topic of the thread.
WAY before Ghostface was leaked, WAY before, I found a fan creation for technically an original Killer, it was Ghostface but they made their own version of the Killer while making it obviously the same guy and that was the intention.
Their version had GF ''Mark'' Survivors as ''Viable Imposter'', once the power was ready GF and the Survivor would switch places, the Survivor would teleport into a locker across the map and GF's POV would switch to wherever the Survivor was standing. Now whenever that Survivor was switched that Survivor model would do an animation of putting on the GF mask and cloak then taking out the knife.
This was basically the whole shtick of the imposter killer with Ghostface being anyone, a stealth Killer by switching with Survivors instead of pretending to be them. This fan chapter had its own Survivor and perks and most of them were obsession based, this thing was the SH*T. I really wanted this version of Ghostface and every time I saew a thread about getting GF in the game I shared the link and eventually told the concept because I forgot what it was called.
We can still get this idea but it wouldn't be Ghostface and you might think this is weak but there's a lot I forgot so this is just the gist.

I thought he'd be better if he got a kit like this: (I came up with this concept ages ago):
Killer's Kit:
Movement speed: 115%
Terror Radius: Slightly Smaller (20 meters)
Main attack: stab down with the knife, then wipe blood same way as in Scream (same animation as now).
Main ability: An Alibi (The current tech doesn't support this, but dedicated servers that are coming might help, idk.)
Lockers in the map now have the ghostface costume in them (regardless if a Ghost is there or not). GF can use the lockers to "become" the accomplice (if they became a GF) or Billy Loomis (if they are as normal). When disguised they act just like survivors, but cannot interact with gens. They cannot attack normally, but can gen grab.
One survivor will be the "accomplice", and can become ghostface as well. They can win with the killer if they hook two people, however, they can also win by being a survivor. The original killer can become a survivor by hiding in the locker and changing into a look alike to the assistant survivor.
When the assistant is near people, the auras of the others are shown to ghostface directly to a max of 50 meters away (standard terror radius is 36 meters).
More Devious points are given if you sacrifice the assistant, even though sacrificing them isn't required.
Teachable Perks:
Relentless Rage: During a chase, if the survivor goes through a window or slams a pallet, you gain a token, at 5, they become exposed. You lose tokens after a chase or when you are stunned with a pallet.
What's Your Favorite Scary Movie?: Based on which killer, generators will ask questions about the different chapters. (If Micheal Myers has it equipped they'll be about Halloween, etc.). If the survivor from the same chapter is there, then they will be repaired 25% faster. If they aren't, they'll be repaired at a 50% rate.
Look Behind You!: The Killer will have no red stain out of a chase, but they will have double a red stain in the chase. Grabbing survivors gives you 2x more bloodpoints. Devious actions give more points.

Yes, because perks and addons are almost impossible to obtain

I wonder who the heck in the community thinks of him negatively? He's absolutely fine as as he is. I think it's a good idea to remember that Ghost Face needs at least 20% of his body in your view within range in order to break him out. It's like a Ghost getting stopped by a pallet, so he begins to lean beside the other side of the pallet. The survivor is gonna try to break his power, but they most likely only get his head.

Make his reveal harder so he can one shot you no thanks
0 -
I love him as is, he just needs a bit of polish
1 -
Object makes his power useless. He can't sneak up on survivors and survivors can reveal him more easily. Also, your point that you see Ghost Faces winning against SWF teams with Object is flawed. For example, I saw 4 man escapes against Omega Blink Nurses, that makes Omega Blink Nurse balanced suddenly ?
0 -
That's bc Omegablink and 4 Blink have zero downsides. There's a giant downside to object of obsession
0 -
instead of going for the exposed, go for ez grabs
0 -
I wouldn't call revealing your aura a giant downside, not against loopable killers. I know survivors who run this perk just because they don't care about their aura being revealed and have no problem being chased by the killer.

In regards to the locker ideas mentioned, it's still incredibly thrilling to think of the lockers as something to fear, rather than (relative) safety. Imagine opening the doors to hide from the killer only to be greeted by tentacles or glaring eyes filling the darkness. What if the killer could put fake lockers down that trapped you?
I don't know exactly why GF was associated with lockers, maybe since he's an indoor killer? It's not like he always popped out of a closet. Although if you look up an old Troma vid Monster in the Closet, there's an idea for a new killer.
