Should survivors get more emotes?
I’m not saying that they should be able to default dance or something, but maybe an icon thing showing that you found hatch or to say that you’ve spotted the killer? Maybe even one that’s like a “Come here and let me heal you!” type thing. But if BHVR wants dbd to be the best game on the market then they should allow Myers to moonwalk

SWF also exists.

Ya but I’m asking this for all the solo survivors because some survivors can be brain desd

I mean, it would be a neat concept, don’t get me wrong, it just seems like it wouldn’t be able to do much, since some Survivors would just outright ignore you to go do their own thing, whether it be to find a totem or actually help assist you/another teammate.

I wanna default dance whenever I stun the killer

Now that’s what I like to hear

We need at least one emote to sign "stay here", maybe just a point down

Add dance emotes plz thanks

I’d actually prefer a different type of killer emote, I’d instead want to point at like a Freddy or Billy and then they just flip me off

The problem with killer emotes is none of them can be in 3rd person because it'll be busted especially if you can cancel the animation and if it isn't in 3rd person there is no point since you can't see it

The less emotes the better. They would be used for toxicity. If killers thought teabagging was bad then just imagine survivors with emotes.

Yes please. More gestures that help solos with communication. I want a “stop”, “stay here”, and “shhh” gesture. Nothing too silly.

Only if I get a face palm emote

But...
finger guns

We might need to make an exception for finger guns...

Solution:
Give every survivor a custom emote.
Dwight bites his nails and twitches.
Meg checks her pulse and looks concerned.
Claudette wraps her wrist in some gauze.
Nea squints and tries to frame a picture with her fingers and shrugs.
Laurie looks paranoid and checks her shoulder and quivers a little.
finger guns for ACE
Bill lights a new cigarette and tosses the current one.
Feng stretches and slumps into a cocky yet casual pose.
David does some practice swings and strains himself by accident.
Quentin doses off and wakes himself up by slapping himself.
Tapp pulls out a pen and paper and quickly jots notes down while surveying the situation.
Kate has an air guitar.
Adam brushes himself off and tries to make himself look as good as he can.
Jeff whips out a flask and takes a swig, revealing its empty.
Jane poses proudly and acts smug.
Ash inspects his robo-fist and fiddles with the mechanics.
Nancy cracks her fingers and pulls herself together.
Steve points to the sky and swings with an imaginary bat.

I think they should add all fortnite emotes and fortnite skins and fortnite weapons why not

Definelty, ace needs it badly! He is an unvisited product without them fingerguns

I would like more emotes on both sides. Nothing too fancy, just more variety.
Survivor: Stay here, Be quiet, Yes/No, The middle finger (even usable on 1st hook stage for those campers)
Killer: Slit your throat, I'm watching you, Specific Emote for every killer (f.e. Myers' head tilt)

Could be similar to emotes in Overwatch, which shift to a 3rd person view during the emote, and then back to 1st person when finished. Even if the emote WAS in 1st person view, you can still see the killer's hands. If they did something intimidating like crack their knuckles, it could work out. You could even have killer specific emotes, like maybe Freddy uses his clawed hand to gesture "come here".

I would like "Stop running you piece of ######### after i unhook you safetly and have we'll make it" emote, just saying.

Sure, if the developers add a lock on emotes. If you use an emote, the entire animation should play to its completion, so you cannot use it for BMs.

In overwatch unless it was the sitting emote you were locked in animation

Anybody here ever played Identity V? If so, I do like the communication system used there. It's not emotes, but different bubbles of text that play in the corner of the screen. Different messages that say "The Killer Is Near Me!" Or like "Focus On The Objective!" It's useful and on a cooldown so you can't spam it. I know it's not emotes, but it's still good for Solo play.

Thank you

I find it funny how pointing or waving is seen as a toxic action, I mean are you that easily set off?

Right

Lol I know right, but since they’re the only emotes in the game they’re seen as “toxic”
