The Entity's feeding method seems incredibly inefficient
I mean, think about it. It has to find a candidate for killer, twist and manipulate them mentally if they aren't already murderous, then pull them into its realm. Then it has to wait for people to stumble into the area of the atrocity and pull them in. And don't even get me started on the energy it would take to perform friggen necromancy, repeatedly, on beings with increasingly less and less to revive.
Seems like it'd be easier to hang out around colleege campuses during midterms and finals and then hibernate the rest of the year tbh.

"The Entity is a nameless evil that lives in the space between our world and our imagination, the kind of place only revealed in dreams. To obtain its source of sustainment, The Entity reaches out into the hearts of susceptible victims and corrupts them into performing hideous acts of violence, because the only way for it to manifest itself in the real world is through an act of violence so extreme, that it results in fatalities."
This paragraph from the wiki kind of explains it. She can't hang around college campuses unless you have a horrific event occur there. Plague is really the only oddball in this case, as she didn't kill intentionally anyone and was just trying to save her people.
Also, given how she has the power to literally create pocket worlds, I don't think it would take much energy to perform necromancy.

I just want to say this title cutoff had me REALLY concerned for a minute.

Okay, now that I'm finished laughing let me just say that that should absolutely be the canon way the Entity motivates the Killers.

I'm game.

In The Plagues lore it is mentioned that before she would have died she performed one last prayer and my guess is that the Entity answered her prayer as a "God" and "saved" her in return for her doing everything the Entity asks her to do.
It was mentioned in her lore that she banished herself out of desperation to appease the gods so she would very likely agreed to this deal and because she was also very religious she probably thinks if a god wants her to do something as example kill unbelievers who is she to doubt a god?
The only other explanation if the first one isn't correct is that the cave she and her followers were in had a stronger connection to the Entity as most parts of the world

Bizarre response to this specific thread but also good point. If it's attracted to and hangs around any sort of mass death then shouldn't most of Europe be capable of falling prey to it after the Black Death alone?

The respone was rather only aimed at the part in this persons comment that mentioned the Plague not the other one but it wouldn't let me just quote the plague part.
Regarding your question why Europe isn't connected to the realm of the Entity. I think the Entity still isn't strong enough to manifest itself into such a big area.
We know from the Huntress lore that the Entity is already in some spots of Europe that had do with war but still is limited to small areas that are not inhabitated by many people.

that's just the way it is, man. maybe it really does want/need to improve, or maybe it's already maximized its efficiency. maybe it does try to experiment, and somewhere out there is another area of its realm that doesn't hold trials. as far as it constantly performing necromancy, i imagine it isn't that taxing on the entity, or at the very least it gains more than it loses.
as far as i'm concerned, though, the entity just does what it does, whether it's because it feels the need to or whether it's all it can do is beyond me. all i know is that it's getting hungrier 😟

It needs to calm down with all its dimension hopping before it ends up hitting a universe with things capable of completely obliterating it. Though now that it hit Stranger Things, it might be too little too late to avoid that.
Oh well, at least it wasn't stupid enough to shoot for the Persona Universe. Thus would have been the days of the Entity for sure.

Highly unlikely. The entity seems to have no known weakness at the moment. This would mean that it’s nearly impossible to kill. Kate’s lore even stated that it’s skin was like iron when she beat its leg with a rock, only for it to bounce off of the Entity. The only thing strong enough seems to have been Vigo, yet we don’t know what happened to him.
The Entity wouldn’t let someone that knows of its existence into the real world, that would be suicide for our little antagonist. The void would be better suited, maybe even turning him into a killer. It would make sure to always keep an eye on him, and show us how scared of this one guy it truly is.

"Highly unlikely" "skin like iron"
*laughs in P3 protagonist killing the avatar of death and p5 protagonist killing an actual god* Trust me bro, the power scaling does mot favor The Entity on this one. Kate had a rock. The Persona 5 Protagonist, Akira Kurusu, has this:
That's gonna hurt a lot more than a pebble.
But in all seriousness in terms of Vigo, he's most likely either in the void or is the Archivist. We'll probably find out which on once the archives launch.

That's a no limits fallacy

I was thinking Benedict to be the Prisoner in all honesty. But it really could be either of them, wouldn’t be wise to give Vigo all of the knowledge that he was looking for though.
How? We don’t know any weakness of the Entity, or what happened to Vigo. He could be a killer, he could be in the Void, I doubt he would be in the real world, it would basically be suicide

Who said anything about giving him knowledge? He might've just taken it. And maybe giving Vigo everything he wanted was a good idea: give him what he think he wants to shut him up and pacify him with a lotus eater dream.

Speaking of Vigo could it not be possible they just dipped? Already was able to do so much and the devs have spoken about a way to escape the realm. Although that would be underwhelming.

I wouldn't call it underwhelming, necessarily. If Vigo found a way out that means it might still be there waiting for another survivor to find it. That in and of itself could be interesting

It’s possible that he escaped, there does seem to be a way out, but I don’t think he left. It’s possible, but I think he’s still in the realm

Just gotta wait for them archives.

Yup, gonna be extremely interesting once that comes out

She? The Entity was confirmed genderless.

You'll see everyone refer to the Entity as she. Has to do with French sentence formation.

Huh. Thanks anyway.

Its slightly in-efficient but that's all. Torturing a killer into submission is a very small use of the entity's power compared to the rest of the procedural. The entity has to pick 4 survivors, a killer, and summon a giant hunting ground for the killer. Of course this is fairly easy too, considering that lore-wise the killers stay in their own realms, and each have 5 they can switch between. The only difficult killer would be Legion. They have to share a realm of 5 maps. There are four of them - and they're teenagers. So arguing about who gets to hunt where is entirely possible.
