Mettle of Man needs a buff
So judging by other reworks that punish killers for tunneling and what not I think I can fix mettle of Man again since it’s garbage now.
When you are within 16/20/24 meters of an injured survivor the next hit they take you will get it instead and if you are injured you will be put into the deep wound status effect. You can only take hits every 30 seconds. For every 3 safe unhooks you get the perk works for you. After you get unhooked or unhook yourself anything that would put you in the dying state for the next 30 seconds is ignored.
I think this is a good perk because it again punishes tunnelers and sometimes campers Any time I make a rework or new idea though something wouldn’t go good really.

It needs a full Tinkerer rework. None of this free hit garbage, cause that will never be balanced.

how about we rework it to "Your mettle is so awesome you don't bleed."
I'd use that perk.

Just fix Protection hits. That's all it needs.

Free hit is bad, and it's current state "get hit three times so you can get a free hit" is even worse.
They should either rework it or just delete it from the game. Like that other perk. Left Behind. And Monstrous Shrine while they're at it.

You waste a lot of time getting those protection hits, the free hit just isn’t worth it in the end. If anything should happen then it should be reworked.

It's fine as is, the problem comes from how you get protection hits. There are two different kinds of protection hits, one that scores 100 and one that scores 200, the 200 one is what gives tokens. The problem is that there shouldn't be multiple of the same protection score. The perk is fine as is, it's the mechanics behind it that are bad.

I like to see the protection hit system reworked for first, than we can talk about reworking the perk.

If they fix protection hits I could probably get behind it. Not that I actually use the perk.
