The Archives
I'm way more excited about the archives coming to the game than the stranger things chapter and here is why..
The archives give more reason to play other characters/survivors which is big imo, atm there is no reason why I have to play Feng over David since feng is a female skin of a survivor i can play David because he is the Male model i want to be in real life (maybe I went into that a bit much....) .... anyways it brings the ability to unlock the backstory/lore of the character you are playing and earning a reward/bragging right (which me personally is super excited about) afterwards. This could help retain more players and this again is huge.
Dbd could have 1mil players buy and start playing after the chapter drops but if they dont have anything that brings more reason to play each character the massive amount of players could leave just as fast they came..

Yeah my favorite part about the archives is how it offers a new progression/reward system for players. You get new rewards like lore, more bloodpoints thank god and new cosmetics. It’s gonna be amazing.

Yeah, I really like them adding in specific objectives and challenges to unlock cool lore and cosmetics.
Shame they decided to take some of those ideas and put them in a battle pa--- rift system...

Indeed theres no question that its going to be good for the game... thankfully "the rift" isn't going to be anything EA like.

With the amount of frustration that game generates, a lot of new players will quit quick.

I am interested in how exactly it all works, it sounds like a different version of the Dailies we already get, what are the rewards, is it just lore? The whole thing is interesting and I am excited for something fresh to come into the game besides just a new Killer, map, and Survivor.

We will be getting the charms, it's a cosmetic that hangs off your characters belt... sort of a bragging right which I love lol.... you also get BP, IS ... I hope it's not just dailys but if it is that they're done in a good/fresh way

The only thing I'm not excited for is the charms. Wish it didn't go on your character and ruin the cosmetic you're wearing essentially.

Yup, this is one of my gripes: I like having something to complete, and currently getting only 1 lil goal a day is blegh to me.

I am excited for Archives, because i love lore too. All the lore goodness when it comes that day. Hopefully it's like a buffet! All you can eat lore.

I'm a little spectacle about charms on certain outfits. Some would be like, okay that's fine on the waist. However if you do the Feng dress or Claudette dress outfit complete set. It might look weird. I don't know, but we have to wait and see how they look.

There's probably a limit on a hook or survivor. I picture in my head a killer chasing a survivor, he finally gets them. "Finally you little..." 'Oh wow he has that 'charm' *picks them up and takes them to hook* The survivor "you tunneling piece of ..." *See charms on hook* 'Wow they got that one, that one is sooo hard to get' *Survivor on hook turns to look at the charm* 'Wow wow'.

It's sadly true. I'll only speak for myself here. There use to be a time where I could spend hours playing, the highs and lows seemed to balance out. Now not so much. I really only enjoy the killer, as I'm a huge fan a first person games and just the idea of being a monster, and things just aren't what they use to be.

I HATE the fact that we're getting charms. If anything it will just ruin the outfit and make it look worse. Not to mention clip with a lot of them.
