Freddy’s Dream Pallets take almost no skill in use
dream pallets are identical to real pallets, and Freddy has a zero cool down and 10 at his disposal at all times. I would like for these to be changed as it makes the reworked Freddy very unfun to go against.
Dream snares are nice, as they can be identified, and they have use in loops.
you can also not see dream pallets when in micro sleep, but when we Freddy hits you or you literally do nothing for 60 seconds, you are instantly put into sleep

Yeah people caught on to the dream pallets almost immeciately..plus they are trash early game especially on certain maps..I'm team snares

Snares > Pallets
Honestly dream pallets are a gimmick and are super easy to play around. He is limited to where he can place them and if you don't fall for it you basically just removed half his power. Plus they have a lot of hard counters. Small Game will warn you of a dream pallet. Maps that reveal killer belongings will show their auras. Or you could just make an effort to remember which pallets are real when you are awake, and stick to using window loops while asleep.
Snares on the other hand are harder to avoid even if you know they are there, and can be used anywhere at any time, no limits. They are more consistent. And they can actually break loops unlike dream pallets which won't change a damn thing if they loop a real pallet.

I like fake pallets... I go around dropping them for no reason...
Just "nope. Nope. Nope. Nonono."
Pretty sure it alerts freddy...but it's fun XD

Killer: *Uses His/Her Power*
Survivors: Nerf!
You're griping about Dream Pallets and Freddy's new sleep mechanic? Really? What's next? 'I can't see the Trappers beartraps in tall grass. Can you make them bright neon orange so I don't step in them?'

Dream pallets may be easy to use, but their also easy to counter. Sure, you can spam the ######### out of them, but it doesnt do anything unless a survivor actually falls for it. Use the time your awake to identify REAL pallets in your area and you'll be able to pretty easily figure out which ones are fake when you fall asleep. Dream pallets are also useless in fooling a survivor if Freddy is placing them infront of a survivor mid chase, so hes pretty much depending on the pallets he placed ahead of time. If you, as a good teammate, break any fake pallets that you notice while not in a chase... It'll help out your teammates who may have to lead a chase into your area.

The thing is all I can do is loop those pallets or go down without doing anything, pallets allow you to extend a chase and further the chase as a survivor. In high ranks, dream pallets are almost like constant spirit fury with enduring, only the killer doesn’t get stunned at all

Pallets are a gimmick. Apart from them being fun when you catch survivors with them, they're pretty useless. Snares >Pallets

I am 90% sure that's been said somewhere in forums.
Basicly, some survivor mains want killers to look towards wall, not check on gen not hit anyone. If accidentally killers hook someone, they should immediately leave the hook area and never ever look back.
And some killer mains want survivors to start trial on hooks. So this goes on and on.
I did think Freddy was OP with his new powers when they first announced it, but right now I like playing both as Freddy and against him. I think he become a well balanced killer. This rework gives me hope for the future changes actually.
About the pallets, yes they are tricky, but also they have downsides to balance them. He doesn't replace an unused pallet to turn it into a fake one. He could only put it on to empty lots And when you are awake you don't even see them. So I think the reward is justified for the counters he faces.

As I have got to rank 1 twice with new freddy, I gotta say the Pallets looked good at first but snares out shine them by a long shot.

The fake pallets are fine. No need for a nerf.

U have to counter play by waking up and remembering where the pallets are, hes trading a slow for them so their not that great

Dream pallets is just a gimmick beside it work on those who don't pay attention just like the bear traps
0 -
Do you consider traps that are hidden in grass nerf-worthy? I hope not.
Pay attention to your surroundings. WoO can help you keep track of pallets' locations.
And no, mid-tier Freddy doesn't need a nerf.

Dream pallets are fun to use, however they don't work effectively. Just like every survivor say when killers complain about looping : Just drop the pallet.

Small Game alerts you of a fake pallet, along with his blood spools.

I could understand if you were talking about snares but pallets are pretty bad honestly.
Snares on the other hand are super strong if you know how to use them.

I main Freddy (and Ghostface) at Rank 1 and I love the dream pallets. I do believe they're pretty useful but wouldn't say they're OP as they only appear when you're in dream world. Providing you're aware of your surroundings whilst you're awake, you're usually fine.
That being said, I wouldn't be disappointed if they reduced the amount of Dream Pallets you start with.

if you are complaining about dream pallets, you are spending too much time asleep.. when you fall asleep, this makes you vulnerable to either pallets or snares, because you're asleep. if you are awake, you won't see fake pallets or be effected by snares.
boo hoo these are too op please nerf == i'm someone who doesn't attempt to stay awake because i'm too busy gen rushing trying to "win".. lul
if you are awake when you begin to get chased, you have up to 1 minute to break the chase in order to be able to stay awake. if the chase takes as long as you falling asleep, or if you get hit by freddy, you will now be even more vulnerable to him because you are asleep.
if you are choosing to remain asleep during freddy games for whatever reason, please start by looking there for your own solution to your problem.
lol every day for years already :o) tbf it goes both ways tho.. every day for years killers cry nerf about survivors too..

Play this game more and you'll soon realize that nothing requires skill in this game, nothing.

They're not that great, keep track of pallets and just make more use of windows. You might be caught out a bit at the start but once you've kept track of them it's ggez

Dream pallets are not that useful. They can catch people unaware early in the match but quickly become irrelevant.
Snares are god tier, use them every time unless I want to screw around. It's also the reason their doesn't even need to be an add-on that adjusts them, their perfect

Dream pallets are trash lol.
His snares are good.

(i like the pallets guys)

lmao, I really just found a whole thread of people saying snares are better than pallets. I must be in the twilight zones. Yall matches apparently don't run the same way mine do.
When my friends and I get a Snare Freddy, we collectively relax and feel like it's an easy game.
When we get a pallet Freddy, we're on edge all the time and more often than not, get wrecked.

Cause snears require a little mind game to use. Most Freddy I face don't even teleport to a gen. But pallets are like gamble at best and easy to counter. So yeah i call that weak.

Snares>pallets all day. Good snare placement completely shuts down many loops. A lot of my matches start off with people trying to loop and end with them just dropping pallets immediately.
0 -
Because Dream Snares aren't that God tier as some people think, but they are still better than Dream Pallets whatsoever. However, good survivors can deal with both.
0 -
I use pallets more, but I've been learning that some maps can really screw over a Pallet Freddy.
Snares, on the other hand, while maybe a bit weaker (a dream pallet that a Survivor stops at is 99% likely to be a hit), but are always useful.
