Does not letting the last survivor go make me a bad person?
Story time: Playing as GF on badham I get a 4k, since the two remaining people are on the hook I go back and forth teabagging while moonwalking for memes :P. After that I get a message saying that I lack morals because I didn't let the last survivor go and that my teabagging was very offensive. I responded back a few times asking how not letting someone escape in a video game means I lack morals then he says "video games show people's true colors and you should let someone escape because it's common courtesy". I responded a few more times and he just kept saying I lack morals and am a horrible person lmao. So does not letting the last survivor get hatch mean I lack morals?

No. It doesn’t really matter. You don’t need to play to anyone’s standards EXCEPT your own.

Yes. You are truly despicable and you should repent!

Short answer: no
Long answer: absolutely not

NO MERCY

Agreed.

Let me ask you this...
How often did a Survivor offer to be sacrificed because you had a bad game?
4 -
Not at all. Sometimes I let the last person go if there was a dc or if i thought they played well, but I usually want those bloodpoints.

For me it happens, but less often than killers letting the last survivor go. Probably because if the killer gets 3 kills then does letting the 4th go really affect anything? Nah. But a random survivor sacrificing his life is 5k BP plus potentially an item and add ons.
They are not really comparable tbf.

Strike first and strike hard and show....

I told him that in my short discussion with him and he proceeded to say I lacked brain cells for comparing the 2 LUL

To me they definitely are comparable.
We weren't talking about BP after all.

Makes you a killer, killer.

Ahh, the usual "I want my opinions as facts" protection.

Noone-"does not letting the survivor go make me a bad person"
Survivors- the cops are already on the way you sick #$@!
0 -
No. It means you did your job as Killer and someone was being a salty loser.
0 -
Okay well BP is relevant whether or not you want to talk about it lol
If you can't see how losing 1 kill out of 4 isn't as bad as losing your entire life then you're just biased.
Edit: did it backwards

Your tea-bagging was just pouring salt into their wounds, but you aren't awful for getting a 4K. If you're worried about making people feel bad, you shouldn't teabag them.

Tbag is toxic.
Killing people is just doing your objective.
1 -
It certainly isn't relevant as more than enough of them don't care about their Items & BP since they'll happily disconnect once they're on the losing side or just not having fun.
Losing the life also doesn't remove all that you've gained. It's a neat bonus, but one i've seen many happily give up to help others instead or just leave the quick DC way.
No bias here.

Killing people is bad. Just saying.

The Killer option is just a trap that sends your personal information to your local police station so they know whose door to break down in the next 15 minutes.

One of my personal favorite things to do, when possible, is hook and kill the last Survivor right by the open Hatch.
7 -
Understandable.

Gotta do something to make the last 2 quit struggling coulda done it anytime. But I agree was slightly toxic

If we are talking about real life I would have to agree. But we are talking about a video game.
0 -
No...?
I don't understand people sometimes.
Edit: Not you, the angry guy.

Aaah, I guess I better not start any controversial discussions by saying "it's never alright" and try to speculate on that argument :P I'll just say that never forget, why you're "allowed" to do that in the game.
0 -
I'd be fine with that sort of discussion as long as we could keep it civil :P although let's not because we could get banned for discussing politics and controversies outside of the game I think.

If the last survivor is down and everyone else is dead, I look for the hatch and close it. I don't spare them, but if they have adrenaline they have a chance of escaping. Makes things more interesting. Other than that, I only spare people if in certain situations where I think they truly deserve mercy, like if two people DC'd early.

One of the best things as killer is , if you managed to control the match you decide their destiny.
2 -
I hope they reported you
0 -
Same ,I deserve to be punished for not letting them go!
1 -
Did you report yourself with video evidence of your crimes?

@KillermainBTWm8 While I don't believe in being toxic in chat in a video game, t-bag away. If that offends them, perhaps they shouldn't be playing an online PvP game. That crap has been around forever and isn't going anywhere. I also don't care about the personal feelings of random and faceless internet people, either, to that type of degee.

Sadly I do not have footage of me teabagging away whilst moonwalking trying to get them to stop struggling ):
1 -
Teabagging isn't something I often do. The reason I decided to teabagging was because A. I was bored
B. One of them was on their first hook and decided to wait out the whole timer and if they really were mad they should've just stopped struggling.

@KillermainBTWm8 No worries. I'm almost 47 years old. Before Overwatch launched in May 2016, I didn't play PvP games at all. Most I did was PvP as a side thing in MMOs, which was my main gaming genre from 1999-2016. So, I never dealt with the t-bagging and other crap prevalent in shooters and PvP games.
I don't t-bag, but getting t-bagged doesn't bother me. I will tunnel and facecamp a t-bagging survivor, though. Not because I'm tilted or offended, but just because I know that in a majority of instances, that's the effect they're going for. So, I figure if they want to play like immature children, I'll punish them like a child and remove them from the match. Depending on how early in the match it is, they might even get very little BP and a depip as an added bonus. 😁
