Why Are Hooks So Close Together AGAIN?
Why do you revert back the old hook spawns when you've stated they were an issue?
Once again and again, they're spawning too close.
You said they were going to be fixed so that the killer wouldn't be able camp 2 hooks at once.

Haddonfield is on the phone.

What killer is that? That shadow looks menacing.
1 -
No sympathy for a Blendette with BT.
2 -
Trapper. I'm not salty about the kills, fair play but man, camping 2 hooks without moving.
They said they stopped that.
3 -
Shut up, you probably use NOED you noob.
And of course you have no sympathy, you're most likely a killer main.
And I'm sorry, since when is Borrowed Time bad? Let me guess, your scrub Lord is also a tunneller.
Let me take another guess, yOu hAtE dS too right?
Let me take another guess, when people say nErF NoEd, you say "dOnt gEt caUghT hew hewwww" but ######### about Claudettes camo.
Pathetix.

This made me laugh really loud.
The reads are impressive.

The hook spawns definitely need to be fixed again. They already fixed it back in 2.3 or so, I don't get why it's all messed up again. Makes my job as a Sabo Expert harder.
4 -
yikes, all that for a shitpost?
Those hooks are still further than they were previously, you could get them literally 4 seconds of walking away. Theres not much they can do about this because if they spread the hooks too far sabo goes back in the meta and they dont want that.
4 -
Bit of an overreaction that. Though honestly bt is fine. It's an anti camper perk.
5 -
It's a great perk.
1 -
Same could be said for double pallets.
4 -
Except pallets don't come back.
3 -
I run Borrowed Time because of the massive influx of Tunnelers and baby killers.
1 -
I don't like blendettes either, but bt? If bt is a huge problem for you, then u r playing killer really wrong.
Edit: typo and grammar.

They said there is a set minimum of hooks that need to spawn every match, so it's possible they placed as many hooks as possible from eachother, but ran out of space for one or two so they just had to take another spot like that.

There's this thing called offerings. Also, the minimum distance between hooks changes depending on the maps, check The Game and you'll see that hooks are terrible for killers there.

There are these two things called EYES that didn't see any offerings placed by the killer regarding any hooks spawns.
I honestly believe The Game was fixed with the update but at the expense of really messing up other maps.

Hooks were reworked to spawn at a certain distance so this doesn't happen regularly.
It's probably the same thing that was happening with pallets, the map needed a minimum number of hooks and all the spread out spots were taken up so one was placed close to another.

Yeah, I agree. It's awful when it happens, but I can see it from both sides.

And in situations like these (which I hope are rare) some survivors will get boned.

If only there was an offering survivors could bring to make the distance between hooks longer... Darn someone should suggest that to the devs, they will make a mint in royalties.
1 -
Which sucks, but that blade cuts both ways.
1 -
Exactly. This also applies to pallets.

You're so funny, oh my God you should win an award for best comment of the God-Damned year.
Or you know, they can stick to their word in the patch notes about spreading the hook spawn like they said they were or I wouldn't be making this thread.
Would I?
JESUS you're a GENIUS!

Yeah, I agree. =/

I sometimes play Kill your Friends with some buddies and as survivors we often bring a stack of 3-4 offerings that spread the hooks. Does it work? No of course it doesn't because even with that I still see hooks VERY close to one another. The system SHOULDN'T have to 'break the rules' because that to me looks like the game is just in favour of the killer and is therefore imbalanced.
