The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Unpopular Opinion.
SWF breaks the game into a thousand tiny pieces. The game wasn't intended to have SWF to start with, which is where alot of the old balancing was. Once it was added cause of a massive outcry from (Most likely the survivor) community, BHVR has struggled to balance the game. Why? Cause having voice comms is insanely strong... but there are still solo survivors too. So fix something for Solo? You break it for SWF. Fix something for SWF? You are breaking it for Solo. This balancing act is really ripping the game to bits, cause Killers get nerf'ed for Solo then get destroyed by SWF.... or they get buffed and Solo is destroyed. There needs to be some kinda offset. (This is going beyond the "Hey, just give me BP for dealing with SWF" I've said in the past. I have realized it's a bigger deal then I thought)
Also, before anyone says it, I'm not complaining. Let's not boil this down into "REEEE" from both sides. But I would like to hear opinions and possible ways to fix this. Let's give some constructive feedback to BHVR.

Honestly I think simply adding a Voice and Text chat into the main game that can be toggled on and off in the menus would work wonders. This would buff every single solo player up to SWF level and allow the devs to rebalance entirely around SWF rather than be forced to constantly juggle between "This is too easy for SWF but too hard for Solo if we make it stronger/This perk is useless to SWF but a godsend to Solo/The opposite of that last one"

More that I'm expecting to get bitched at for bringing it up.

Yea that would help... unless people said "Naww" and didn't use it. Proximity voice in game could work too. You never know if the Killer can hear... well other than TR. LUL

Considering we see about 100 post a day about SWF being OP, I would say this is not an unpopular opinion.

More I was expecting to be called "A Killer Main that just wants Survivors to start a game hooked and get 4ks alll the time. REEE REE REEEE!" that kinda thing.

This game was not intendet to play with your friends? Its a multi-player game and we have 2019, so it better should be.
Did devs ever mentioned anything like that, or are you just assuming?

People still use "reeee" to explain reactions? That's uh.. that's a shame...

You see though, if you don't use it it's on you. You chose to make your life harder. Besides if they did this they could easily add a lot of quality of life UI like a chase symbol on the hud for every surv, not just obsession, a totem counter, etc. Since the option to communicate the information would always be there it wouldn't really change anything meaning again that killers and perks could be balanced around that high level of knowledge instead of around solos with no idea what's going on

Look at the game when it first came out, and what they wanted to do. It was supposed to just toss you in with random people, and you have to survive. Please check before you start trying to be rude.

AND on top of that, even taking your point, I'm still right.

It was not ment to be rude, i was simply asking a question. Like i said, its mulitplayer and we live in a time, where devs cant afford to scare away people because they are not able to play with each other. Nodody i have introduced the game would be interested if we could not play together.

Yes, but this is beside the point still. The game is broken by SWF. I am trying to think of ways to get around it. Like Voice chat in proximity or something. Something so BHVR has an easier time balancing.

This is very true.

Also yes, they do. I was merely using it as an example of what I don't want to see.

Solo Survivors with no mic will be DC's On if you add coms

I agree with the people saying that survivors should get more team-related info in their HUD, baseline. The most important thing for survivors to do is coordinate their efforts, so the devs should do everything possible to encourage that.

Who doesn't have a mic now a days?

Give the killers three friends that can spectate the match fly around little invisible eyes and report back to the killer:
"he's going for your hex"
"two survivors on gen near shack"

I mean, you arn't wrong.

I persoally still think the best way to balance this game is to give survivors certain aura reading buffs so that survivors in general get the information that only swf survivors get at the moment, and then balance all killers around that. It seems like the only proper way to do it. Voice chat in the game wouldn't work cause many wouldn't want to use it, for obvious reasons, and communication with strangers can always be harder than with friends.
And nerfing swf survivors, well that just won't work. That will just drive away survivor players that like to play swf.

All of this seems good. I am not calling to nerf SWF btw. Just wondering what could be done.
