EDIT**

This topic is NOT about balancing Mori's. There are enough topics about that in the forums, don't bring it up here.

Okay. I have a huge problem with the way the killer offerings are set up.

The ONLY secret offerings are Shroud of Separation and moris. How often do people use Shroud of Separation? Not often.

This means that any time the killer offers something that is secret, it is automatically assumed to be a mori. Most people dont even use Cypress moris, so either its an Ebony or an Ivory.

Survivors can't handle the fact that a killer wants to use a mori, so what do they do? They DC or suicide on the hook. This then leaves 1-2 survivors at the end that I, as a nice killer, am then "forced" to let live. Yes, I know that nobody is forcing me to let them live. But if I don't, they are going to chew me out in the pgc about how I didn't let them live even though there were 2-3 DC's.

And of course, my mori has now been wasted. And for some reason the game won't give me very many Ebony's in the bloodweb and the most i've had at once is 3. So now, my round is ruined and my mori is wasted. I just wanted to see a cool animation!

My proposed changes are this:

  • change all killer offerings to secret (except bloody party streamers/gruesome gateau)
  • not show killer offerings at all

Not both of these need to be done (obviously) but I really think one of them should happen. It is really unfair that the only secret offerings are moris and SOS, but again, nobody uses the shroud. The one thing that is supposed to keep the survivors from knowing its a mori is really the thing that gives it away.

Please let me know what you think and feel free to suggest other changes if mine aren't what you think will fix it.
