Stranger Things fans in DBD is gonna be rough.
I already met this kid who loves Stranger Things, saying he has everything you could possibly get for video games, etc. He bought this game as an addition, played some SWF matches with him, he played absolutely awful. He was scared of the killer and everything, he had fear. Wish I had that but oh boy, good luck non high rank players, prepare to deal with even more people walking and healing aimlessly in stupid spots of the map, doing no gens whatsoever.

I know, we'll just prolly get a lot of mad new players because you have to buy the dlc still. Also we might get more threads about how Legion is the most OP killer.

Actually had this happen to me that I crouched to a gen, started working on it and the hag trap activated because my movement from crouched was considered standing or something, the transition from crouched to working on the gen activated it.

Most likely you stopped pressing crouch as you clicked on the gen and that's why you were flag as "standing".
Tbh tho a Hag trapping gens is a baby Hag.

She was, she screwed us over with the basement, I had the chance to leave and was on my last hook from being tunneled, got cocky to save my friend and died for it, almost was able to Unbreakable out of it.

Yeah, poor thing. God bless the new players of DBD because I know a ton of killers who purposefully derank or wait a week or two after rank reset so they can bully the low rank survivors.

Usually best way to play Hag imo is to trap your hexes and pallets(on the "safe" side, on the side if survivors where running away, they'd be on) around the gens. Also to use traps to break loops.

It is super tough on new people, like they teach you the basics but not stuff like "looping" and the metas of this game.

I've been running into a lot of new players recently as survivor and killer. I always try to give them a pep talk after the match to try and make them stick to the game. It's a rough learning curve for people especially for new killers. Not a lot of people play games where time management is the crucial factor. I think everyone should do this when getting ready for a match. There's another person controlling that avatar. Be mindful of that. Give pep talks. Tell them they did great but give tips at the same time. Don't be jackasses. This is a HUGE chance for the fandom to grow which gives the devs even more money. devs get more money we get more content.

Forget it, this person is dead. The Hag if she's smart, will have trap the entire basement and would be looking at the entrance from a distance.
Most likely she'll run towards you guys as soon as the survivor is unhooked to force you to run and trigger traps.
Best way to deal with a Hag tbh is a flashlight.
Not to use on her, her character model is ######### up you won't succeed blinding her. The tip is to use the flashlight on traps, it'll destroy it without even telling the Hag about it.

Let new players enjoy the fear of playing. It wears off once you play the game enough and then becomes a whole new experience. The reason this game is alive is because of the amount of time you can invest and get completely different experiences. My favorite is feeling of horror. Wish I could get that feeling as often as back then!

We were all new at one point and scared of the killer, it has nothing to do with being a stranger things fan. If you are at high ranks you will not have to play with new people anyways so just relax and let people have fun.

I Play on PS4 and main the Hag but tbh I'm pretty much the only one I see around...idk why tho...

4- unrelenting or insidious

Make Your Choice is when you are 32 meter ways from a hooked Survivor, the unhooker has the exposed status effect for a set amount of time and it goes on cooldown after use.
