is it bad i do this?

so... i have anxiety and such so playing this game can be difficult at times. I often prefer playing killer but, of course, sometimes it can be stressful. especially when you get toxic survivors. so, ive started playing killer differently. most of my games now i mess around and farm bloodpoints rather than play normally. this, of course, results in depipping and staying in the lower ranks.

i also do this because i know people can run into a lot of toxicity in this game and i just hope that maybe i can help brighten someones day a bit by doing funny things, like being Pig and crouching at a gen like im working on it. or just by being nice and letting the survivors get a lot of bloodpoints.

im also sort of doing this because we're most likely getting a huge influx of new players once the stranger things DLC hits, and i want to be a kinder killer so that they have a good experience.

and lastly, to compensate for the fact that i should be a higher rank than i am, when i do play normally i try to make sure i dont hook the same survivor twice and such, just so i dont end up ruining anyones day when i do play normally. guess im just making this post to see if anyone else does this or something. i dunno, what do you think? is it bad that i do this, am i ok, am i gonna get banned, are the developers themselves gonna come to my house and uninstall the game from my xbox themselves?

It isn't bad but tbh not optimal either.

Best would be to send a message to one of the survivor asking him/her to farm with you.

Usually at least one will agree bc you can both get tons of BP. Even the other survivors wouldn't really mind as they'd be able to farm good and great skillchecks.

There is nothing wrong with the play style you choose, want to be a little douche to the Survivors or Killer? That's your choice, want to farm? Your choice. Play the game competitively? Your choice, do as your heart desires, I used to have such a bad time playing Killer until I started learning the game and putting hours in to Survivor to help learn Killer and Killer to learn Survivors.

Also I'll add that I also suffer from anxiety and definetly understand where you are coming from.

I often gets...idk how to explain, kinda like uncontrollable cold shivers when I play my first game of the day.

It shouldn't prevent you from playing the real way tho. If anything take a few seconds (even during the trial) to calm yourself down and go when you are ready.

As for the survivors, after you've farm a lot of BP you should have unlocked a few perks you like so start trying to use them.

As a tip if you don't like to be the one chased by the killer, go for an immersive build.

    I offer my own;

    (Psychic)

    1- Premonition

    2- Selfcare

    3- Urban evasion or Lightweight

    4- Lithe or Dead hard

I see where you’re coming from, but as a solo survivor, if I see a killer who wants to farm, I DC, because you’ve essentially removed the main reason I’m playing — to escape while under the threat of being captured and killed. Farming removes that threat, so the fun goes away.

and thats part of why i made this post, cause i was wondering if this annoys survivors... interestingly, just yesterday i had a Claudette that DC'd after a few minutes of me just farming...

thanks man. ive definitely experienced the cold shivers when playing too... when i paly survivor i main Tapp, Stake Out helps me know the killer is nearby, and makes me worry less about getting great skillchecks. but thank you, i'll keep those perks in mind as well.
