Is it possible to receive data about playtime statistics on PS4?

I play on PS4 and I was wondering whether or not it would be possible for me to see my playtime on the game. I asked sony support for the data but they referred me to ask the developers of the game.

  There is no current way to track playtime on PlayStation. Sony didn't develop a feature for it yet.

  
  

  So hopefully they will introduce it in the near future.

  At the end of the year Sony releases your gameplay hours on all the games you’ve played throughout the year. However there isn’t a way to track on the actual system itself.
