Which Perk Is Balanced When Standard?
Here's some examples of how you should think about it.
- You say Lightweight? Then Scratch Marks will always disappear 3 seconds faster without equipping the Perk.
Or:
- You say Unrelenting? Then recovering from missed hits will always be 30% faster without equipping the Perk.
Editing the numbers on the Perks you want standard is allowed of course, like making Unrelenting 20% or 40% instead.
I thought we could use another pinned thread of people's opinions. 😋

Alert. The killer is breaking something...I think it makes sense the survivor wouldn’t need a perk to know where the sound is coming from.

I remember this one picture of someone posting a challenge of finding a Survivor.
Turns out she was downed in high grass, and despite being in view, it was just impossible to see her directly.
People knew she was there because the grass was slightly moved, so you knew someone was there.
In short, base Deerstalker to a very small degree sounds pretty nice actually.

Gimmicky perks shouldn't be base kit candidates. Otherwise you turn every game into a gimmick causing the mechanic to lose even that.

Anyways:
- Buckle up (minus the Killer aura reading part)
- Fixated (specifically the scratch marks part)
- Lightweight
- Stake out
- Agitation
- Beast of Pray
- Deer stalker
- Shadow born

Are you asking which perks ought to be part of each role's base kit? If so, here's what I think:
Survivors: Bond, We're Gonna Live Forever, and the "everyone sees the killer's aura" part of Kindred.
Killers: Whispers, the BP incentive portion of Barbecue & Chili, and possibly another detection perk like Bitter Murmur or Tinkerer.

I think strider being basekit would buff spirit indirectly too much.
I gotta disagree with DD and M&A, DD can be quite good, even if you don’t get a grab you can often get a lot closer, typically an easy hit.
As for M&A, The killers TR is fine. M&A is already pretty good.

Agreed. Stridor is already strong as the perk for the Spirit. People just don't respect the power of this. 🙄

That does sound pretty nice.

Monstrous shrine (just to get rid of the useless perk)
Shadowborn - default fov sucks
Deerstalker, up to ~10 metres i guess.
At some point i think brutal strenght might be considered, i mean a basic-effect&perk rebalance already happened once.

Stridor will screw over spirits who don't use it real bad. It's like playing nurse with add-ons, once you learn Spirit with Stridor, you can never play without it.

Unnerving presence - It makes sense you would be more affected doing an action when in the killers terror radious. Maybe add some of overwhelming's item penalty to toolboxes also.
Kindred with maybe a 8m radius.
Deer stalker with a 6m range.
BBQ and WGLF but only 50% at base and the perks take it up to 100% with the added aura for killer and on Survivor it blocks the aura from being seen of the one rescued for 20s.

It is worth it in the end since it counters iron will.

Iron Will doesn't phase me. It's easy to track through it without Stridor.
Edit: Pun intended.

I can hear footsteps but with the amount of spirits bamboozled by iron will it would help a lot, I use to use it all the time but I didn’t get destroyed without it.

For wanting to see Scratch Marks, or for wanting walking to be faster?

What??? I didn't get it

Dying Light because it encourages the killer to spread the love! :)

Basically: Which Perk do you want to have equipped without needing to equip it?
Imagine as if seeing Auras of Hooked Survivors was a Perk at one point, but became part of a Survivor's basekit later on.
That's what we're doing here. 😊

FLAGGED FOR BEING OFF TOPIC! 🤬
Just kidding, thanks for the compliment! 😊

imagine if d-strike was base kit for survivors.. yikes i feel like it already is in red ranks

Hence why the title includes "balanced". 😉

Scratchmarks. Not only for us experienced players, but more for the new players. U can't imagine how many survivors don't know what scratchmarks are and how they work. Even at green ranks.

Yeah, seems good.
