Stealth attack for the Wraith

Why cant we get a stealth attack for the Wraith?
Give him a short lunge after which he gets slowly visible, like when he gets pallet stunned (he'll be able to walk, but slower than normal speed). A: That would make him a waay better killer than he is now and B: it would finally make sense, that his blink add ons are very rare, since you would want to be able to go invisible fast again. Also it would match just beautiful with his abillity to see blood better on the grond, since you could easily track and surprise injured survivors.
C'mon devs! PLEASE! Even The Ripper from Indentity V has an invisible attack, so why not The Wraith too?

That's too much to ask for for these developers. :)

I agree, especially since bhvr had a hand in identity v. Almost like wraith was the prototype and they learned from their mistakes. But what are your thoughts on uncloaking and whirlwind add ons since they would become obsolete if he can stealth attack. Plus he'd technically be the fastest killer since he can run faster invisible.

i think it would be situational, weather you use the cloaked hit or uncloak first. I think that the uncloaking should get slightly reworked, so you might not be able to hear his bell, untill he is very, VERY close, but the benefits of uncloaking with windstorm/quick hunt (i think thats how the add ons are called, which decrease his uncloak time) would be, that he'd simply swipe the blood off his weapon and continue the chase/switch target, while the stealth hit would take him more time to recover from, which lets the survivor get away better.
So the stealth hit should maybe only be used to hit an injured target, since he wouldnt be able to get away anymore and you can easily pick them up and hook them, while the uncloaking would be more beneficial to start the hunt and injure them for the first time.
also since he cant lunge attack while invisible, he'd have to get much closer to the survivor in order to hit him, which would make up his faster movement speed and also allow some interesting mindgames with our Mr. Wraith.

Hm. So a EW 1 Myers style invisible attack followed by a slow phase in to keep you from going right back to invisible?
quick hunt would basically stay the same while windstorm lets you move at a faster after hit walking speed that is closer and closer to regular speed as rarity increases?

    pretty much. yeah.

oh, also the slow phase would be similar, maybe a little longer than the hit recovery while carrying a survivor.
and the movement speed should be like Myers stalking movement speed...

and another edit: they could even take the hit animation he has while carrying a survivor. he slowly raises up his blade while he gets visible. (he can get lightburned during that time?)

Wraith will probably get a rework early 2022.
    Just wait, it's "soonTM".

Yeah, if you actually do the math :
The last "rework" was Wraith, which was around november. It took approx 9 months now for them to "rework" Hag and Trapper (it's not even live yet). Next one on the list is very likely Freddy. Which will happen probably... SoonTM. 3 months for the possible next "mid-season balance patch", + 1,5 more months of testing.
Since they also want to rework Nurse add-ons, it just add-ups on the list.
Which makes 2022 the most realistic prediction for a Wraith rework considering he has been "reworked" (lol) a few months ago "only".
