SkillCheck Battle?
I think it would be super cool to implement a skill check battle between survivor and killer, with skill checks getting harder and faster until one side fails to hit it and loses. Fun applications would work for things that are currently not in a good place ie:
Ebony Mori: Survivors you mori after the first one can engage in a skill check battle to avoid getting mori'd
Hatch Game: Rather than let whoever gets there 2 seconds earlier win, it would also be a fun place to see this.
Breaking and unbreaking totems? Maybe hex ruin can be put on to any dull totem provides killer hits 2 hard skill checks?
What do you guys think? I've been playing alot more killer and kinda miss those skillchecks

The mori would be cool to see some more killer interaction and to fail mori's, in a "play with your food" kind of way where succeeding or failing checks will give a different animation.

It would be cool if the Survivor had like a 80% chance to fight against the mori, and each time they try to get mori'ed it would decrease the chances from 80% to 60% to 40% etc. Something like that.
It would make facing moris for other people somewhat more bearable.

The mori thing would be cool, but that's really the only place I'm seeing this being a good idea.

Because the Entity wants to give the survivor another chance.

I really like this idea. 🙂

You like the idea of giving the killer which has to focus the entire match random skillcheck to hit?
Same killer that is heavily pressured on time against survivors capable of logical thinking should spend time on skillchecks now?

I like the idea of skill check battles. Execution would need to be fleshed out carefully especially on which context skill check battles would be ok to begin with.

The entity does not want to kill the survivors, he feeds off their hope so escaping from the jaws of death (aka from a mori) would probably give hope to the survivor that they might yet escape.

Of course the killer won't have trouble, unless the survivor is fighting back. It's not like they're paralyzed or can't act while the killer is attempting to kill them.

Anyone else seeing no merit in such interactions except wasting kilker time?

Well getting your torso pierced by a meathook seems to barely leave a scratch on survivors so they probably aren't completely helpless while lying on the floor. Besides they do have some fight left in them, even during The Shape's mori the survivor is hitting back at the killer albeit in vein as they are already dead at that point.

The original point of my post was to put something like this in areas that needed changes (Im looking at you ebony mori). I have no sympathy for killers running that offering and saying "oh that skillcheck battle wasted an additional 10 seconds before I could mori the 2nd person...
Lets be real, after the first mori you already have amazing tempo advantage. the 2nd and 3rd one is pretty unbalanced
