A Badge for Devotion Level
In my opinion, Devotion Level currently does not serve any purpose and noone can see which Devotion level your lobby partners are.
My Idea is that a little badge is implemented down below their name or somewhere else to show everyone else, which Devotion level the player is.
Also, the badge could contain one star per each Devotion level.

Why not give extra iridescent shards for each devotion level when you level up?
I think that the stars and the badge/title aren't what people are looking for, but that could be an extra ^^

I'd second that. First, there should be more incentives to actually want to increase your Devotion level. Currently it is just "get to level 99, then go back to 1". As NullSp3c already said, your idea could be a neat bonus.

I don´t think that we need more iridescent shards. A little badge isn´t much work and it add´s a bit to the levelsystem. Like showing how much you played.

Out of curiosity, where would you imagine this badge would be shown? I would be very cautious about adding it to the pre-game lobby. In the past, people were able to see what level and rank the survivors were, and that lead to a lot of people dodging lobbies for easier matches or more experienced teammates. I'd be concerned that the same would happen here if you could see everyone's devotion level.

I'm devotion 2 at the moment and my past 2 experiences are "I don't want to reach lvl 1 again to win 70 iridescent shards".
The amount of shards that you need to unlock all characters and perks is so high that some people just HAVE to buy them with real money because they don't have that much time to play. You need 30 levels (starting in level 48 or something like that because it is when you receive 300 shards per level) to unlock a single character and you can see the amount of them that can be bought with shards.
And I also forgot what Peanits mentioned. After what he said, I take back what I said about "...but that could be an extra".

The amount of shards you get per 1XP point is actually almost the same at each level. But yeah, as you said, if you really want a certain cosmetic and it is 21.6k Shards it feels like an eternity until you can finally buy it.

The XP part is right and that is what doesn't make sense.
I was mentioning only the characters and forgot about the cosmetics. Oh boy! Yes we need more iridescent shards!

I had the same thought, but the difference between showing the personal rank and the devotion level is, that the level only shows how much that person has played so far and does not necessarily reflect their skill level.
In the screenshot below you can see where the badge could be placed.

I don't care about showing off to other players, because that's meaningless. I just want some sort of prize for a Devotion level -- like, say, a 1,000,000 BP reward or something. It's a rare enough occurrence (I've played for almost a year and I am only Devotion 2) that it wouldn't be a huge deal.

The badge would be awesome, along with some bloodpoints/shards. If the killer could see the badge POST game would help with lobby dodging.

I like your idea to display it in the POST game.

The last PTB showed ranks and levels in the public lobbies. Is this something that will be going live? I didn't like it on PTB and won't on live either.

I would rather have the shards then the badges.

I would much rather have the survivor ranks shown to me, since it can prepare me for what's coming.
