what if there was a perk that stunned killer if they are near when you get unhooked/unhook someone
How would you feel about it?
would it be okay? decent? or too op?

Survivors: ‘Totally not OP!’
Killers: ‘Too OP!’
Thats how this post is gonna go.

It would be really annoying.

so basically the "lets go for unsafe hook rescues whenever we want, since there will literally be no penalities for it" perk?
horrible idea.
will only encourage hookfarming, which should be punished instead of rewarded.

Let's make a perk that injures/downs survivors if they keep going at a nearly completed generator if the killer is near

I'm in agreement with mister..borrowed time to stop tunneling is one thing..but that is easily abusable

It would be better if there was a perk that stunned the unhooker if they unhook when the killer is near, it won't stop survivors from doing unsafe unhooks but at least you'd briefly regret doing it.

Opportunities don't always present themselves and you need to take advantage of them, when you are unhooked and the Killer is within 10 meters of you, Stun the Killer for 3 seconds and run at 150% movement speed for 3 seconds giving you the Exhausted status effect that lasts 60/50/40 seconds.
I am ok with getting my face slam kicked as they get off the hook, that sounds funny even though they won't actually do that animation. Also you can still hit the dude making the save if you time it right.

Sounds to me like a great way to create a giant fart of a game. BLLLLLLLPPPPP

So punish killers for not allowing survivors to unhook?
Sounds legit...

Better alternative would be;
Perk- Boot to the Face
While hooked and a survivor attempts a rescue with the killer in close proximity, you kick them in the face leaving them stunned for 3 sec. When rescued after activating you receive the effect of borrowed time for 20 sec even if the rescuer is without the perk.
I always blame teammates for off the hook tunneling, killer is just taking advantage of bad survivor plays.

I made my version of the perk above, I think it is a great idea and won't solve camping but would help players who have a camping Wraith or Bubba who revs the saw and not let anyone close. In my version the Killer has to be right next to the hook and the person ON THE HOOK has the perk, basically this is D-Strike while on the hook and while DS is for tunneling, this is for camping.

No. This would encourage hook rushing, which is not at all a good idea.

I like this. SOOO many times people are camped and blame the killer when it is actually due to dumbass survivors rushing the hook or trying to get their unhooking points.
People always blame.the killer but this idea actually addresses one of the main reasons I camp!

People would abuse the hell out this perk. You could literally get chased by the killer and rush to the hook and unhook the survivor in the killer's face without any sort of punishment. The killer would literally get punished/stunned for chasing the survivor who decided to rush to the hook.

''Opportunities don't always present themselves and you need to take advantage of them, when you are unhooked and the Killer is within 10 meters of you, Stun the Killer for 3 seconds and run at 150% movement speed for 3 seconds giving you the Exhausted status effect that lasts 60/50/40 seconds''.
No one is seeing that the best way to implement this perk is to give it to the person ON THE HOOK. This is good for solo players and even if they are all SWF that have this perk then the Killer will realize they need to stand just a little bit back so they won't get stunned, 10 meters isn't that big and this perk has a huge chance to never get activated.

There's borrowed time for an unhooker who wants to do unsafe unhooks and there's DS for people who get unsafely unhooked. Survivors shouldn't be invincible on unhook - part of survivor gameplay is coordinating the right time to do certain actions, not just performing them as a given. If you're unhooked unsafely and your teammate isn't running BT, then their unhook was bad and your team is punished for it,

We need a perk that allows the killer to yeet a survivor he's carrying at another survivor to damage them.

Or from Someone Objective that plays both sides: killers couldn't stop hook diving. That combined with borrowed time, DS, and now baby-sitter killers would have no choice but to completely throw their hands up and allow saves.
I'm accused of camping all the time when there's obviously another survivor very close waiting for the save. I really don't think I should be punished for playing with the intent to kill anymore than the perks I mentioned already do.
As a survivor I've been camped, and I understand why I'm being camped. Usually another survivor is too close, or nobody is doing gens, or I'm being camped as part of a 3 gen strategy, or maybe a basement strategy, or maybe something I don't immediately recognize until later when i see the killers build. Very few killers in red ranks camp, and just let 5 gens pop without caring. They've usually got a good reason.
Not just all that, but as a survivor getting rescued shouldn't be a mindless unhook game free of all risk. I mean you are walking into the lions mouth after all. You can easily save a camped survivor with a little mind gaming. current perks almost guarantees a safe unhook.

Totally, let's also implement a perk that DC's the killer if they even touch a survivor.
0 -
Meh small beans
Let's implement a perk that will also wipe the killer's entire collection of add-ons that he had equipped in the match if he brings a mori
0 -
That will simply make it very safe, which isn't the goal.

It's a little too powerful, it would make suicide dive hooking meta. That's not good for the game, anymore than tunneling and camping is.
I'm more partial to a nerf to camping where the hook timer stops or slows to a crawl when the killer is withing a certain number of meters from the hook.
Steve's Camarederie is going in the right direction but needs to work for both stages and not just 2nd stage. And I'd rather the power goes to the survivor not on the hook, rather than the survivor who is on the hook. The power should be in the survivor camping the hook, and not passive to the guy who got hooked.

Stun the killer for 4 seconds if he is within a 12 meters range and injure (if he isn't already) the rescuer.
I'm ok with this.

How would you feel if you'd get stunned in place for that long if you'd tap a damaged Generator?
0 -
It would be absolutely busted so please don't even suggest it
1 -
Horrible idea. You already have DS to stun the tunneling and sometimes even non tunneling killers.
0 -
I don't think this is meant to counter tunneling, I think it's meant to counter facecamping. Which may beg the question of whether it's preferable to encourage facecamping or to encourage unsafe rescues, but surely there's a way to discourage both with a perk like this. It could use some adjustments, sure, but I think it has good anti-facecamping potential, and I've seen a few suggestions on this thread already on how to counter potential abuse, which are much better than a flat-out "no".
0 -
Camaraderie is already there to discourage face camping. It just needs to be worked/buffed a bit to make it fulfill its destiny.
This stun perk is too abusable too powerful in my opinion.

How about no. If that ever happend killers will cry and probably leave the game for good:( Also it's not going to happen. They will never add a perk that gives survivors complete control of the killers power because if they did that this game will die from killers leaving the game:(
SO NOOOO!!!!!!!
