Everyone's saying nerf Spirit
But what is it that you would nerf about her if you had to? I feel like everyone doesnt really go into details about changes they'd like to see to her and instead just says pLz nUrF.

The rather character killing suggestions I've seen have been..horrible..though I would agree prayer beads could stand to trade places with fathers glasses

After nurse addon changes and possible base fuckery, people will complain about anything that gives them trouble. Nurse without her addons is fair imo no range or extra blinks. Spirit should be left alone like Billy should be left alone cause we always see people complain about nerfing both of them.

People jus need to accept that different killers need different tactics to escape. She just takes a different skill set to face and to play.

I haven't heard people wanting her nerfed specifically. I've heard many people crying about how powerful prayer beads is.

Prayer Beads Rarity Upgrade (Switch with Fathers Glasses) and removal of Collision while Phasing would be enough IMO.
Its just annoying to do everything right to lose her and then get ######### because she randomly bumps into you. Would also make Gengrabs harder with Prayer Beads.
(even tho, she is fun to play, I have to admit this. But after playing a few rounds with Prayer Beads I feel like a even more horrible person than I already am)

I think The Spirit herself is fine. They just need to buff Survivor stealth perks to provide more counterplay. Lightweight needs a 2nd effect and Calm Spirit needs something as well.

For the 1000th time, spirit is fine and balanced in her current state. There is no need for unwanted nerfs. And prayer beads rarity is ok imo (Spine chill and premonition say hi)
To all the survivors mains who cry for nerfs, i will just say one thing: Git gud

Nurse adjustment confirmed, time to move to the next killer on the list.
"Hidden" conspiracy to drag down average killer potential is in full effect, while lobbying to increase "solo" survivor potential. (dont take this snark too seriously)
"No feedback" for spirit actions isnt a point. Contrary to what those "why dont you have 200€ headphones"-guys are saying, the most information a killer gets is visual, audio gets bugged and fixed to 80% of its former state every 3rd patch. Spirit has to guess nearly as much as the survivors. Not knowing what she is doing is her whole ability, or am i wrong?
Killers being " unfun" to face is also kinda the point. Realistically a "fun" to play against enemy means he's too weak to pose a real threat.

The nurse still follows the exact same "rules" as every other killer: you rush the gens, she loses. You don't rush the gens, she wins. The only difference between her and any other killer is that she has a power that just so happens to be diametrically opposed to the survivors' toxic and abusive stalling metagame that they haven't changed since fall 2016.

Spirit's fine. She's strong and annoying to go up against, but she requires a high level of skill.
My biggest issue with Spirit is that in good hands she's almost impossible to juke without Iron Will. Meaning if you don't have Iron Will against her you're probably going to lose unless the Spirit player sucks. And if she's using father glasses you can't even juke with Iron Will.
She can be looped, though, but not for long because she can use her power to end the chase, but she is still loopable and requires mindgames (high skill) to consistently beat survivors without her Yamaoka's Haunting.
The other issue I have with spirit is when she uses Prayer Beads, because she can sneak up on me and do grabs that way. Mother Daughter Ring is a little problematic but when she does have the ring she becomes a lot easier to juke so it's kind of fair, if you happened to spec Iron WIll. She just gets first strike.
The main issue is when she stacks some of her stronger add-ons together but those are rare in the blood web so it's not too bad.

This. She needs to give more feedback to the survivor. She is not balanced until she does. Spirit in her current state is the exact definition of imbalanced. She can track survivors but survivors can't track her. Imbalanced; lack of proportion or relation between corresponding things.

This is something I would get on board with.
The collission in particular is huge. Removing collision would make fighting spirit a lot, lot better and fairer.
Prayer Bead rarity is not so bad, I admit going up against Beads spirit is annoying as heck but it's not so bad, and if it is SPine Chill is always a great perk to have anyway.

The only thing I see that is ridiculous about her is her Prayer Beads add-on and how common it is. I don’t know if it’s just my awful luck, but Spirits I face almost always have Prayer Beads on.
My only change would be to either change or remove Prayer Beads, and also to remove her collision while she is phasing.

Collision is fine and part of her kit. If they remove it then they should also remove the collision with objects, like nurse

Her entire design is based on not telegraphing to Survivors when she uses her Power. Take that away and Spirit will become a harmless M1 Killer that on top walks at a slower pace, making her extremely loop-able.
I'm curious though, since you guys always fail to point that one out: what is this "exact definition of imbalance"? Can you word that definition it or is it yet another sweeping expression to cover a lack of arguments for such a case?

I would only change Prayer Beads.
For example, I read about an idea to rework Prayer Beads which I kinda like :
Spirit's TR affects the entire map while she is phasing.
That would make this add-on balanced.

Like someone above said, making prayer beads red and fathers glasses purple would be fine. You would see them a bit less often if you aren’t p3 and could still use black wards

exactly, some people are showing double standards, especially with the removing collision while phasing that people keep suggesting. It's not okay for Spirit to stand still and mindgame, but if collision was removed survivors could do just that and Spirit would have no way to know if you were there. It's ridiculous the ideas people have and don't actually think things out.

Prayer beads are every bit as balanced as iridescent hatchet heads or coxcomb clapper. The addon IS strong and does something unique, that’s why it should be red. But it’s isnt unbalanced.

In my opinion, the lack of feedback is what makes her fun. When I said a "different skill set", I meant that Survivors need to learn to pick up on what little information they're given. You can hear her footsteps while she's phasing, if that helps you.

Only thing I'd do to her is make it clear that she's phasing when she's chasing you, especially since we have Prayer Beads.

Remove her collision while phasing.
Change the rarity of prayer beads to ultra rare.

Prayer Beads Bracelet is the only problematic thing about The Spirit. The rest, everything - That includes the colissions, vaults over windows, grabbing animations (except of the bugged ones, and yet, not fixed ones), destroying Pallet or damaging Generators... Her husk, her statue during Yamaoka's Haunting, it's all fine.
That one Add-on should definitely have an Ultra Rare rarity, but not swaped with the Father's Glasses.
The Father's Glasses Add-on should be of a Rare or Uncommon rarity, as long as the Dried Cherry Blossom isn't of a Rare rarity, instead of a Very Rare rarity.
That being mentioned, she may have some Uncommon and Common Add-ons, causing her to appear a bit later after a window vault, after destroying a Pallet, damaging a Generator, (...).
Prayer Beads Bracelet should have the Ultra Rare rarity, if it's not going to change...
But, if it's about to change, then its rarity should stay the same, in my suggestion, that it'd cause screaming to not be directional.

People don’t like it when they have to rely on the killer’s mistakes to win.. while all the killers (Other than nurse and spirit) have to rely on the survivors’ mistakes to win which doesn’t make sense to me at all.. all killers should be spirit tier.. I mean look.. if the survivor is going to have the advantage in a 1v1.. then how the hell is the killer supposed to win in a 4v1?

Following this logic, MoM was balanced because you could run insta-down perks, add ons, or killers to counter it.
