The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

End Game is broke
End Game has become a constant state of last 2 survivors choosing to live or die trying to save each other from a camping killer or a killer that slugs one and hunts the hatch. Once you try to save the person on hook, they are tunneled and killer goes to hatch to close it - gates are almost always too close together so in a great majority of the cases, the killer has the advantage and catches the last survivor.
The hatch should not be visible to the killer unless it's open. I'm sick of this scenario above just prolonging the game and always in favor of the killer. What happened to the BP penalty for camping??? Nothing came of that either.

It's supposed to be in the killer's favor. If you were a killer, I'm sure you'd be annoyed if the last survivor slipped away every game. The hatch is meant to give the last survivor a chance to escape. If you are often the last survivor remaining, here are some tips:
- Remember usual spots for the hatch to spawn. For instance, on badham it often spawns in the boiler room.
- Stand by the exit gate and let the killer find the hatch first. Unless the killer immediately goes to your gate, you'll probably be able to open it in time.
- Use a map that can track the hatch.
- Use perks to help you escape in these situations. In the upcoming patch, Left Behind reveals the aura of the hatch within 32 meters. Wake Up helps you open the gate faster if the killer find the hatch first. Sole Survivor will keep your aura from being seen when you're the last one alive. Spine Chill can help when you need to open the gate just a little bit faster before the killer catches you, and is also a good perk overall.

Just like what the guy above me said, it is meant to be leaned more towards Killers. In the past, when the hatch opened and the Killer found it first, then it really did not matter. If you camped the hatch, then the Survivor could just sit there and wait until the Killer gives up, thereby robbing them of a well-earned 4K.
Now, whoever finds the hatch first comes out on top most of the time. If the Survivor finds it, they jump in and escape. If the Killer finds it, then they close it and the remaining Survivor is given one last chance of escape. It is very small, but it is appropriate, as the Survivor has failed their previous objectives.
Victories are earned, not given.

"Victories are earned, not given."
ROFL
The victory in EGC is given to the killer free of charge, effort or skill by the developers who once again implemented a cheesy solution to a bad game design decision THEY made and that the killler community whined long and hard enough about to get it implemented.

I still see survivors escape through the hatch plenty. Escaping through the exit gates after the hatch is closed is a lot less common, but previously that wasn't even an option. Not to mention, the hatch can spawn with zero gens done, now.
The game changed it so that whoever gets to the hatch first wins, which is how it should be, and the survivor can actually still counter that if they have a key. And they still get another chance at escaping via the exit gates.
The hatch gives survivors a chance to escape without completing their main objective. I don't see why all these extra chances aren't enough. Sure, I like escaping via the hatch, but I understand I didn't really earn it; I got lucky. Now, if I manage to open an exit gate and escape after the hatch has been closed, that's actually quite thrilling. It wouldn't feel like an accomplishment if it were easy.

Didn't said killer just kill 3 people? Unless you mean the normal EGC, in which case if that gets a kill the survivor is either an idiot or the killer was able to maintain extreme pressure on the gates (not always possible, even with the best of killers). Or maybe when he stomps the hatch when a key opened it? If he gets a victory from a premature EGC then he's skilled; you don't win that scenario without trying hard.

If victories are earned and not given, why have the new end game? Immersive survivors are the counter to try hard killers, period. End game was supposed to avoid hatch stand offs which could have been solved other ways.

Idk why ppl try to run for the hatch...let the killer close it and start opening one of the doors, 9/10 you have enough time.

Lol. 9/10 times the doors spawn on the same wall or side of the map, the killer just needs 3-5 s to patrol both. 9.9/10 times you die to a cheesy fix for hatch standoffs requiring absolutely no skill whatsoever from the killer.
Once again the dev team implemented a super cheesy fix without giving it some thought in terms of balance. If the code to spawn the doors would at least have been modified to spawn doors as far apart as possible to give the last survivor at least a glimpse of a chance to get out that would have been an idea. Or massively reduce the door opening sequence if the hatch was closed by the killer. But in its current strate EGC is just another reason to DC since survivors dont get to have a chance anyway so what is the point of staying in the game ?

Idc don't believe me. It doesn't make any difference for me and definetly not dying. ;P
