Can we stop all these threads about....
For the people asking that other people stop making threads about (fill in the blank), I'm going to need you to:
- Carry that same energy regarding both survivor and killer complaints (not just one side or the other). If you're gonna complain about the million of threads about NOED, you also should complain about the millions of threads about DS.
- Or realize this is a forum and people are free to whine and complain as much as they need to.
Like, I get it. I'm annoyed when I see yet ANOTHER whiny person complaining about the fact that my friends and I dare play a game together and have fun. But this space is designed to let people vent. Just let em whine about their non-issue and continue to play the game. XD (Before killer mains jump down my throat, NOED is also a non-issue so those threads are dumb too)

That's literally what most people here want it seems like. They want to hear their own bias confirmed by other people

The issue about that is, a space used for venting will eventually become a place of toxicity when it comes to certain subjects.
Take for example The Legion, one of if not THE most controversial topic since its inception. When they came out, a sea of complaints flooded the forums, people were in utter dismay and demanded him to be changed. This followed for weeks like with how common complaints about DS usually do, until finally after months, they cracked under the pressure of the bandwagons. And... The Legion was never the same since.
The communication there was ultimately what lead to his demise, and that's kind of sad to think about.
Since then, they're more cautious about what Killers they make because of how the community lashes out over it, so we'll never really see a unique concept like that again. Yes, the mending and healing was ultimately annoying to face and I get that, but demanding his add-ons be changed through bandwagons of forum posts doesn't solve anything.
It just destroys unique concepts from continuing or being created. Ultimately though, people will still complain about NOED, people will still complain about DS, and people will still complain about Legion. Because instead of going around the obstacle, I guess its easier to just write it off as impossible.
No hate towards anyone of course, i'm just giving an example of what can happen when people talk about something too often... in a more... distasteful manner.

I'm well aware. The same thing happened to Mettle of Man which I never even got to use in its original form because I didn't play the PTB. By the time I bought Ash and unlocked that perk, it was already dead due to waves of complaints on the forums

If the majority disagrees with something, and complains hard enough on the forums...
It'll get nerfed until niche or buried. Like Legion, Like Mettle of Man. Mettle of Man was annoying but, now literally nobody uses it... NOBODY!
