Which map theme would you like to see in dbd?
My map theme:
Now some guys will call me crazy.
But I want see a indoor strip club.
Because I hate the FSK rules for video games.
Blood,horror,dying people = 16
1 frame with something erotic = 18
Thats just dumb , because it should have the same treatment.

Even if they did it. This won't stop people from buying the game. I was 15 when i bought the game and i didn't cared if i was too young.

I'd like a realm centered around a prison, be ith medieval dungeon with a gaoler, or something more modern, with a warden. (I have a vague idea of a killer concept for this lol)
Stolen right out of Salt and Sanctuary: the Red Hall of Cages, red ambient lighting, torture cages or other tools of the trade lying around, some broken cells etc. Pyramid head shoutout/expy as killer.
For a more modern approach, I'd choose a derelict prison yard as normal map, like asylum but with more greenish or pale gray lighting and mosscovered ruins. The killer would go more in the direction of the doctor.
I think this kinda prison real could host both outdoor map (the yard) and indoor types, a mashup of prison faculties similiar to lery's or a cell-block focused map nore like the game.

I don't like indoor maps. The three old realms are my favourites, I would like to see similar maps.

A Victorian street, similar to Haddonfield (but not broken), or a large Victorian Mansion with a couple of outdoor courtyard/garden tiles.

I'd like a leaky underwater base, or like something from Bioshock with Big Daddy killer and adult Eleanor survivor. A classic spooky graveyard or haunted house would be really awesome, though.

A Cemetery, a derelict/capsized boat (like an oil tanker), a ww1 battlefield, an airport like the langoliers. Endless possibilities.
More though I'd like for them to add some ambient lighting effects, sounds effects, moonlight etc to the game.

In order of my most wanted map themes.
- Amusement Park - With various attractions and working objects like a Merry-Go-Round. Imagine a chase happening on an actual moving Carousel.
- Prison / Asylum (Like an actual asylum) - Could be in the Lery's Realm as one of the areas Herman practiced medicine in as well.
- Spooky Mansion - Ideally with an outdoor area like a garden or greenhouse too. As stated above maybe from the Victorian Era
I don't know about a Strip Club unless it was part of an even bigger map. I don't know if you'd be able to make a full map with just that idea alone. Although I can already see the memes and clips in my head with such an idea so not really against the idea with the humor that can be behind the idea. I don't see the location alone hindering BHVR from doing such a thing either as long as there wasn't like naked bodies or something overly suggestive.

A scarred desolate battlefield , doesnt matter the era..wreckage, debris, slain fighters..the whole 9

A island map. Instead of walls for the map borders the coast line itself would be the wall. In the distance would be whales breaching, and maybe a few shark fins. Full ocean sound effects with waves crashing.
The middle would be dense jungle with ancient ruins scattered throughout. Survivors on the beach would need to run back into the jungle to evade the killer, because the beach wouldn't have any structures except the boat that the survivors arrived on.
The exit gates would be two life rafts that the entity has blocked itself with it's own twisted deformed gate on the beach.
Instead of repairing gens survivors would need to cleanse evil alters the ancient people that used to live on this island used to worship the entity. Once all alters are cleansed the entity loses it's hold on the island allowing escape.

I would love a map with a bunch of trees, super open with really dense fog. It would really add. Take the Slenderman game at night, but with a lot of fog and no real vision. I'm so intrigued by the idea and Slenderman in general because I thought that he was real and would kill me when I was younger.

This sounds stupid, but a movie theater would be cool. I just imagine a survivor hiding in one of the theaters and sees the killer's silhouette projected onto the screen. I doubt they'd do that because of how cluttered and dumb it'd be, but would be cool if it happened.
That or some sorta spooky mansion irdk.

Like the prison building in 7 days to die.
And yes, memes are great.
But an old underground strip club with old machines could be rly scary and it would be big enough. And the devs could put many jokes in this map. It could be fun for the design team.

Joke aside, I rly like Spirit. And I rly think we need more "horror nudity". Because humans are kinda dumb with feelings.
They would rather die than running through a city , if they wearing only a towel or nothing. That count for male and female persons.
Humans make dumb choices with mixed feelings and I like this psychologie horror.
